I hope that you can at least add/remove scars or subtle features for imported sheps, I'd especially like to add a realistic (key word here) looking scar to some of them, like they had in ME1.Tchones13 wrote...
I'm curious to see how will the Character Creation take place: i.e if your appearance for ME2 carries over automatically to ME3 and you can't change a thing, or if character creation/appearance customization will only be available for new playthroughs (non-imported Sheps)...etc.

Why oh why did Bioware take away the awesomeness that was the ME1 scars.
I resent giving mine scars in ME1. He looks much better without them. If had scars in your face, and given the option to easily remove thyem, you'd keep them because they look cool? They look cool in armor, but what about a tuxedo? Only Krogans think they're sexy, most humans don't.

I believe the "No scarring will occur...." thing is in reference to no facial scarring will occur based on you being naughty or nice (or whatever their pseudoscientific reasoning was)Pwener2313 wrote...
Remember what the facial surgery after effect said: "No scarring will occur no matter what actions you undertake". Shepard is now a super human cyborg with unbelivable healing abilities so I doubt he'd get scars from punches or any kind of meele weapon.
A knife to the face will still leave a mark.
Yup, adds character.Pwener2313 wrote...

That's rather opinionated. The scar for one of my Shepards was more symbolic than anything, especially since he was a sole-survivor from Akuze. The option to have ME1-esque scars in ME3 would be nice.Pwener2313 wrote...

One can pretend they have been there since ME1 and choose to ignore the fact that they weren't their in ME2, one can also say that it happened over the course of ME2 or maybe one could even create some elaborate story of how they got it between the events of ME2 and 3.Pwener2313 wrote...
And how exactly would he acquire these scars? In between the months leading to ME3 he underwent more punishment then the entire year that ME2 spanned? Right.......
The reasoning need not matter, as long as it is up to the player.

How did his scars get better or worse in ME2 just by how he acted toward people?

Evolution and ME1 indicate that sentient organisms can exist almost independantly while infused with reaper tech. Post-Lazarus Shepard is "humanity's best hope" not because he was rebuilt as a supersoldier, but as part of a superWEAPON. The initiative against the Collectors was a daring, necessary dry run for Shepard.
TIM doesn't want to kill Shepard out of spite. He wants his weapon back to complete or duplicate it, and fight the war for humanity on his terms.

Doesn't the article start on page 50? DO you mean the sword wielding chick above the New Game + portion?WorpeX wrote...
Forgive me if its been mentioned, but has anyone else noticed the female batarian on page 39 and rocket boots on 41?
If she's Cerberus, she might not be Batarian.
