  You can see Italy there, should be quite easy to guess that you're looking at africa and europe.  south/north america aren't even close.

Bulky? Not really.

Better than an armour made of fabric and patches of plastic,imo, makes more sense.

Also, it's the most recognizable armor for The default Male Shepard, it makes sense to have that. It's a fair guess you'll have more than enough options to change it.

It probably only looks like that since it's the very basic N7 armor you start out with.

Not too different, but in the announcement trailer Shep's armor did have ME1-style shoulder pads.

I love how many people are complaining about the fact that it's not FemShep on the cover. Look, whether you like it or not, MaleShep has been used for marketing thus far, and he is basically the face of ME in the media. The majority of gamers are male.

This makes the most sense market wise.
