Then, Bioware will make a spinoff about Garrus (perhaps about his time on Omega?). Then they will make a spinoff space-combat (like Wing Commander or Freespace) game set during the First Contact War. Then they will make a ME MMO.

I'm quite dissapointed that there's no mention about Tali. The most interesting character not in the great final? That would be very sad.
I found Tali during 2 games really annoying so I dislike her. But, all I can say that she'll 100% should be in game, even if not mentioned. As Joker.
It's just first info about ME3. They won't tell you all the details now, they can't. It's just small details, they have to keep most of them to post during this year til the game will come out.

For those actually thinking they are going to Axe *any* of the Love Interests for Shepard's finale. Seriously? BioWare likes pushing out buttons to get us heated up, speculative, and over-anticipated, but thier not reckless or ignorant of the fans to that kind of staggering degree. To remove the ME2 LIs, especially when one takes into account how much romancing someone in ME2 effects a ME1 Romance, would be a mistake of bibilical purpotions.
The Article simply states that, upon getting to the Nomandy, only certain Squadmates will be available, this is just so you're more likely to select the new companion Sanders as opposed to going with an ME1-ME2 Squad Make-Up.
If, for some reason, certain characters are off the Normandy at the time of the Trial, it's almost certain that Shepard will be able to pick them up after the first intro mission. I mean, would I like to have Tali standing behind me at the Trial (and this still might be possible) so as to fit the Narrative of thier ME2 relationship? Yes, of course. But even if she's not there at the outset, I know she will be joining Shepard soon. The same goes for Jack, Miranda, and so forth. So, no one need be overly concerned.

Is that Ash with long hair? Looks pretty good.
Now I wish I didn't let her die on Virmire.
At least I still got Miranda.

You say it. It is logical. I thought the exact same thing. I'm 99.98% sure that all those characters will be in ME3. At the same time, my emotions have taken control of any speculation regarding this game. There is absolutely no need for me to be concerned yet I will be until the day I hold the game in my hands. Which most likely will also be a night I go without sleep trying to see if I can see what happens without stopping.
I like the way you think cuz I will be doing the same I mean im probably even taking a weeks vacation from work for this game

Well, we are talking Bioware here, the company who thought that killing their most successful protagonist ever (Shepard) was a good idea for ME2. The company who thought that butchering the character of their (at the time) most popular LI ever (Liara) was a good idea for ME2. The company who thought that denying their fans the ability to continue ME1 relationships was another good idea for ME2.
Who knows what "good ideas" they have in mind for ME3?

I never really 'got heated' by any game - I mean, I'm not some NoLife or anything alike, but I really fell in love with Mass Effect universe. SciFi/Cyberpunk - these kind of things always appealed to me, not only in terms of video games, but also in books (like Frederick Pohl's "Gateway" Saga - You can find many references in ME from this btw), music (Tangerine Dream) or movies.glenboy24 wrote...

I did every single mission in both ME's, read all the books, and I often listen to ME soundtracks. In other words, I think I can call myself a big fan. So yeah, I guess Bioware got me heated.
Tali is my favourite character from the very beginning - mysterious, selfless, thoughtful, filled with honor and integrity (and Liz Sroka's voice). Just after her first appearance in the game I knew she will stay in my team forever. I can't imagine, that the most important character to me won't be there when the curtain fall. To me, there's no Mass Effect without Tali now.
So I hope Your right and Bioware is just playing with us.
BTW, I'm really happy that we see some references to the books.

Remember that the last time BioWare revealed the details of Mass Effect 2 in a magazine like this (was it also GameInformer?), it didn't reveal every single aspect and character in the game. So, what we see in the preview is exactly that: a preview.
I just hope that ME3 focuses more on the overall story more than ME2 did.

No, everyone can post bad or good opinions, but ME2 wasn't as bad game as many people state, including you.
