I just hope that the whole game is not going to consist of hordes of husks throwing themselves at us. Hopefully they either a) use tactics and guns, or 
there are normal enemies for the vast majority of the game.

To the mods: if this isn't kosher I apologize; but this little pic has really wet my appetite and made me want to buy the article tomorrow. So while its a leak, its a leak that sells magazines.
I'm looking forward to buying the magazine when it comes out; but I couldn't help but share this little leaked tidbit I stumbled across....
So it appears that Liara, Garrus, Ashley/Kaiden and some new human character named James Sanders have already been confirmed for ME3. But: Wrex, Mordin and Legion may only be receiving cameos though they haven't been ruled out as squadmates.
My reaction.
I'm very pleased that Liara and Garrus are coming back. And by God the better be on my crew for the duration, having Liara kicking ass for me during LOTSB only to leave was a real tease.
But; honestly I'm kind of bummed that Ashley/Kaiden will be back. Ash was an interesting; but hardly exceptional character and Kaiden was dull as dishwater. Not to mention I'm not sure I want their disloyal asses back on my ship after the crap they gave me on Horizon. I mean seriously I save their life and they colony they were supposed to be protecting and they have the audacity to call me a traitor? **** them.
On a side note the redesign they did for Ashley makes her look too much like Miranda (who I'd prefer to have return instead of Ash). Ash's character model definitely needed to be redone since it looked dated in ME2; but now she looks like a Miranda clone.
Its just a damned shame if Wrex doesn't come back as a squad member. Granted he's got an important position on Tuchanka in ME2; but he's just such an awesome character that I'd love to have him back on the crew. The same goes for Mordin who was both the most entertaining and ethically complex character in ME2. I'm cool with Legion not coming back as a squad member though. Legion was interesting; but I don't really think it has enough personality to be an engaging crew member over the course of two games, although I think he could drive a very cool storyline regarding the development of Geth Individuality. I like Anderson alot but having him join Shepards crew seems silly to me particularly considering his age and his position.
I'm apathetic about Udina though he was a fairly interesting character in ME1. And as for the Illusive Man I'm very pleased that he'll be coming back, not because I'm a fan of Cerberus (quite the opposite really); but because I still owe him a bullet in the brain for what went down on Akuze.

Thrilled beyond words to see Ash/Kaidan will be back. LOVED those two in ME1 and was so saddened by their mere cameos in ME2. They are both proof that a character can have subtlety and depth and humor without needing major "fixing."
I know very little has been officially confirmed, but those of us who are fans of the Virmire Survivor (whichever one they may be) are really excited about this. Thanks BioWare!

So engineers it seems will only have 2 weapon slots in ME3? That's fine, my femgineer (Alexandria) only needed her pistol and a few grenades to take down Sovereign. Having 2 guns will almost make it too easy. The Reapers are in big trouble. If the attacks happens in mid trial for my actions in the Arrival DLC then it wont so much be that the Aliiance sets me free to take on the Reapers but sets me LOOSE!!! RAWR!!!!

I hope Tali goes and becomes an admiral in the Migrant fleet. She oculd be a useful ally with some clout, same for Legion with the true Geth, since Shepard gets to send them a message through "him" if you talk to him enough. Stoked to have my Soldier/sentinel back by my side but um....Liara...get your sexy blue self back to that Shadow Broker base and send me intel. Samara can hopefully fill the Asari quota for my team, I need you to make sure we don't get outsmarted.

It might just be the pic, but Ashley looked better before. She wasn't the most beautiful woman in the world in terms of looks, but she wasn't homely either. Far from it. Her looks and her personality drove home how beautiful she is. This is, I don't know what to call it.
If Ashley beomes popular because of this then (I'm not all that sorry to say this either) it speaks to the extremely shallow nature of those who would think to give her the time of day because she's been redone.

I romanced ashley in ME but couldn't resist the lovely miranda after horizon would be nice to she how ashley is handled in ME3 with her new looks. And yes her being hotter=more popular to the general gamer
