BioWare please reduce the bust size of Ashley, this isn't a healthy move on your part, female character in games doesn't need 34DD to be acceptable. Ashley is a soldier, and her physique should reflect that, not every woman need to be like Miranda.

I agree with this.

And the v neck armor? Come on, I know she looks hot, but this is just... NO, Bioware. Bad Bioware. You can do better. :P

If the main characters all become flashy action heros, I will seriously doubt Bioware's artistic integrity. It's like Mass Effect 1 made me respect them as artists (the romance scene before Ilos was perfecto), ME2 made me respect them as game developers, and ME3 is starting to look like the final evolution of the characters into fabulous super-action-hero badasses. Which will leave my view of Bioware looking like something between a Michael Bay production house, and a James Cameron game company (if he started one).

Edit: just sayin' that having Ashley going all-out on the beauty products like that makes me cringe for her character. I mean, her hair's not even black anymore; is this an attempt to make her look less like a replacement for Miranda? Bleh.

Her bust size is fine. I don't like the fact that she obviously spent last two years in plastic surgery clinic, but her boobs are still acceptable - at least she's not Isabella.

I think my list of "I expect to see them back in ME3" characters (Which is not exactly the same as my "I expect them to be in my squad" list) is pretty much every major player in ME2. Garrus, Ashley, Kaiden, Liara, Wrex, Mordin, and Legion are confirmed. Miranda and Jacob will just about have to be involved if Cerberus is still after you, so they'll definitely be back in some capacity. Tali is a LI and a major lever in the Quarian political works, so she's a pretty safe bet too. Thane is a definitely maybe--The only reason he'd be gone is if he was dead. (And then Bioware would have a whole different beast to contend with.) IT's only when you get to the less obligated characters that things start getting iffy. Jack is a maybe. DLC characters are possible but sadly unlikely, though they'd be really nice if you could only get them if you have the ME2 DLCs. Grunt is possible, depending on whether he's made it back to Tuchanka or not by the time ME3 starts. Samara is probable--I can't see her going for anything else when there's an immediate Reaper invasion at hand.

... I think that's everybody. At least everybody major who was a squadmate at one point.

Have I mentioned I'm excited? I'm excited. NEED MOAR INFO.

Hey, I just don't like how Ashley's personal look in the article goes against her personality. Flowing hair and a bust "lift" is definitely not in her character, just like Miranda tying her hair in a bun and suiting up in heavy armor while off-duty wouldn't fit her character.

It's just my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around... ^_^

*SPOILERS*

It is insane, but I've just read a Thresher maw will take on a Reaper and damage it, LOL.
That means Shepard is more deadly than threshermaw & a reaper because he kills a maw with grunt and other squadmate. Also Normandy SR2 will be confliscated by the Alliance, because they need to study it as a non alliance ship (i guess they want mah thanix cannon), damn
So I already know how we can defeat the Reapers.

For those actually thinking they are going to Axe *any* of the Love Interests for Shepard's finale. Seriously? BioWare likes pushing out buttons to get us heated up, speculative, and over-anticipated, but thier not reckless or ignorant of the fans to that kind of staggering degree. To remove the ME2 LIs, especially when one takes into account how much romancing someone in ME2 effects a ME1 Romance, would be a mistake of bibilical purpotions.

Well, we are talking Bioware here, the company who thought that killing their most successful protagonist ever (Shepard) was a good idea for ME2. The company who thought that butchering the character of their (at the time) most popular LI ever (Liara) was a good idea for ME2. The company who thought that denying their fans the ability to continue ME1 relationships was another good idea for ME2.

Who knows what "good ideas" they have in mind for ME3?

You evidently didn't get LotSB.
It renders two of your points invalid, and the remaining one is rendered invalid through the standard story as he comes back within 15 minutes of putting the disc in.

From the features mentioned in the article, it is clear that BioWare's Mass Effect team is still listening to the fans. Here's to hoping they make ME3 the best.

Okay, I know it would be just stupid of Bioware not to include or give a role to any possible interest but still a big fan like me can't help but worry so I'm sorry if I say this but....

I HOPE THEY CONFIRM MIRANDA'S INVOLVEMENT SOONER!!!

I'm glad to see Ashley's back. Though I just hope her outfit's not Miranda 2.0

I just hope that they got someone decent good to write her like the person who wrote Aveline in DA2.  My apologies for forgetting the name.

That would be Lukas Kristjanson (sp?), the same person who wrote Jacob in ME2.

Shepard looks too big for his own boots, and his image is slowly bordering on "super"hero, compared to highly skilled N7 operative.
That saying "don't judge a book by its cover" - I hope that is the case here. ;)

When you save the galaxy twice, you're a little bit more than a highly skilled N7 operative.  You reserve the right to flex on the cover of a magazine after that.

I actually do have LotSB. Three points to make here:

1) It only has Liara in it, not Ash/Kaiden.
2) It does nothing to un-butcher Liara's character. She remains, by her own admission, a cold-blooded killer (see the line: "I got him killed. And I'd do it again."
3) It's a DLC - an optional addition. ME2 remains the same. It still has all the same mistakes in it. The fact that BW tried to partially fix some of those mistakes in a DLC demonstrates only that BW had become aware of those mistakes.

And don't get me started on Shepard's ridiculous resurrection.

I hope the writing is up to my expectations. ME2 was not my favorite ME game. I loved ME1 and playing it again, I know why. Love everything about the characters except Liara though it is interesting when she mentions my femShep's interest in Kaidan and I have always been a Kaidan fan. Please, Bioware, tell me that Raphael Sbarge is back as his voice actor. I wasn't going to buy ME3, but now I'm buying the whole signature/collectors edition whatever they want to call it. I am a huge Kaidan/Wrex/Garrus fan and of course who can forget Joker/EDI. Got to love it. Oh and don't be like the DA team, show some skin Bioware. For a mature game, skin is okay.

To be honest, I think Bioware wishes to keep us on the edges of our seats. I believe all characters will return. It is just that some will be more important than others. From Ash/Kaiden, Liara, and Wrex all the way down to Zaeed, Kasumi, and maybe even Thane. Bioware wouldnt cop out and make us ask "wtf happened to that character?" they just wouldnt

I also second this.

I liked Ash and Kaiden because they were normal and relatable people, not stereotypical characters from a computer game. Ash was always a femme fatale before hand anyway, now she looks like Katie Price (and no one likes Katie Price).

OH HAPPY DAY!!!! :wizard:

Indeed. I feared as much but yaaaaay for not raping content of the single-player for a cheap multiplayer. Do not want. Also Kaidan being a squad-member is beyond awesome. My Canon-FemShep will be very pleased. ;)

@MikeDraws567 - Just because she let her hair down? She is definitely not the second Miranda.
