I dont mind either but ima keep him ( or ashley depending on which save i use) at barrel length because i can see TIM pulling something out of his as to make them doubt you (like if you cheated)Asch Lavigne wrote...
I guess I must be one of the few who didn't mind the Kaidan( in my game) encounter on Horizon. Yes, he seemed hung up more on who I was working for instead of why and yes, that was a little sad. But after what the Council and Anderson (again in my game), said I wasn't surprised at his actions. And if we get him back in ME3 then that may mean that he was willing to work past his assumptions. Again, I didn't blame him for acting the way he did. If one of my former companions jumped sides (like if Jack was working for Cerberus all of a sudden) it would ****** the hell out of me.

Same thing if you have Jacob or Miranda. Even though I know that Miranda quits at the end of ME2 if she is in your final battle party.

I had somewhat of an idea as to why there is so much crew change: (spoilerish but given the nature of the topic of discussion)
after arrival a trial on earth seems likely...perhaps instead of turning himself in, for whatever reason he is captured - ALONG with most of his current squad/team and crew. The new teammates are the band of people who were on the outside and able to bust him out (and possibly select few of his team) from confinement - given that its earth, the fact that it is mostly humans (VS, James Sanders) makes sense
Just a though

GI confirms that you go back willingly and your ship is detained and repurposed. Also says it was during the trial which is why people like anderson is there.ExplosiveMage wrote...

Hmmm.... I wonder if Jacob would turn. He was open about his concerns with TIM and Cerberus and did seem more lotal to Shep and their cause than anything else. I still didn't trust him because he was Cerberus. As for Miranda, she's dead in my game (done on purpose) otherwise I would kill her in a second.

I'd be happy to see alot of my crew show up at the trial. You know, like for support. I wonder if Hackett will say anything given he believes you about the Reapers and was on your side at the end of Arrival. I wonder, if you escape during the trial if that means that people are hunting you for the whole game or it's like "Hey, Shep stop them and we'll drop all charges."

Maybe. I could see him pulling something out of jealousy just because you bang miranda or something. I can see miranda doing the same. Its all good but i wanna know why cerberus is after you, that has me kinda pissed.Asch Lavigne wrote...

cerberus is but ima laugh if they pull somethin like DA2 and be like regardless of which side you pick they planed on arresting you in the end. Kinda of a moot point though if you can cause entire species to be wiped out but i wanna see the trial to with everyone, imagine how awkward its gona be if you cheated on ash/kaiden then they have to testify for or against you with your new LI there!!Asch Lavigne wrote...

Someone was a Cerberus supporter. I imagine it will be explained, if I had to guess right now it would be that you are no longer useful and expendable. Or TIM is trying to get to you before you find out his deep dark secret. I'm actually not surpised by this given that the game would be too different if you were still with Cerberus vs if you told TIM to screw off at the end. Maybe the trial has something to do with it. They all know you were working with Cerberus so maybe you have to like publically deneounce them to save yourself? Or they too get blamed and it undoes all the work they did to try and get people to think good of them so now they want to kill you. Who knows at this point. I dislike Cerberus so it's a non issue to me but I can understand other people's dissaproval of it.

Not so much that ima a cerberus supporter but you would think that the one ****in time they would wana kill you WOULDNT be at the beginning but more like a double cross at the end if you worked with him in ME3. But oh well, i wanted to kill TIM anyway and find out were he gets his damn suits from!!!!Asch Lavigne wrote...

Ok, here is a quick wallpaper I made (removing the UPC and text). I will be removing it in the next couple of days, but figured I would put it up there if anyone wants it. (I used Deviantart since my photobucket is used for other things). I don't want to take credit for simply clone stamping the image. Feel free to use it though.

P.S.also in the scans(which I'll most likely be banned for bringing up) on GameInformer I think are pretty off. I mean we have the standard husks and new Rachni Husks(which look like the organic equivalent to ShadeTurrets from Halo) and what they describe as a Batarian Husk, even though it's twice the size of a human one, tbh I think it's more likely a Yahg husk.
P.P.S. can someone help with the img tags, what do you do to make them work(I'm new at them)

Am I the only one wondering how the hell we are meant to cram all these people onto the SR2? I mean, in Mass Effect 2 we had people like Garrus and Tali working in the engine room, and wasn't Grunt, Jack and Zaeed living in Cargo Holds? how the hell are we supposed to fit in: 1) The Virmire Survivor 2) Urdnot Wrex and any other Urdnots he brings along 3) the inevitable 2-5 new squadmates 4) Captain Anderson who will most likely escape Earth with you and 5) Liara(The new Shadow Brokers) and the necissary storage, memory space, equipment and everything else sheneeds to effectively continue running the Shadow Corporation?

Well, it already appears that the SR2 gets impounded and probably sold off ("repurposed?") when Shepard goes on trial, so that just paves the way for an upgraded ship to fit an upgraded crew. Liara will have the SB's ship, and she will be able to commute per se back and forth between that and the Normandy 3.
Anderson would have a hard time explaining his way out if he left especially if he is a Councillor and not a Captain still, but again that would depend on how (and if) you played ME1>ME2 and if you picked him over Udina for the human council. Also, I see why Wrex may think of joining up with Shepard on the Normandy 3 given their past adventures but I would like to think that the krogan have perfectly able spacecraft of their own.

GI also says that its takin apart and repurposed which implies that it will get upgraded also as for the husk its probably a batarian scion cause you can see wt appears to be a face on its right shoulderJosh123914 wrote...

The books (if im not mistaken) mention anderson leaving for certain actions he took after ME3 so he'll probably be an admiral or somethingGuitarShredUK wrote...

yeah but isn't the shadow broker ship powered by the storms on the planet's surface so it's hardly space-worthy, also the only way Wrex and the other Krogan could effectively get off Tuchunka is if A) they hitched a ride with Shepard and co. orGuitarShredUK wrote...

Bioware said some character are just around for certain missions while others are there all the time in the article. guess it just kinda depends on were youre at in the gameVenydar wrote...
Maybe it will be resolved like in Baldur's Gate, where you can invite or kick any NPC from your team and do the same at any time later. This would be awesome!

Two words: Temporary squadmates.
I figure this is also how they're going to maximize the number of returning squaddies. I think they'll give us more than lame cameos for most of them, but won't keep them around the entire game. And then there'll be a nice get together at the end where we all kick some Reaper butt.
