Liara has been confirmed? Hopefully that means theres no Samara. Worst ME1/2 character.

Hopefully, She was also the most disgusting looking character ever. I'm not for sexualizing characters so perv gamers can fantasize, but if you are going to do it, don't one that looks like a skinny grandma in skin tight leather. Yuck

Yeah, no timed missions, I hate them with the fiery intensity of a million Haestrom suns.

Haestrom was fun, the Archangel mission sucked. they shove you into battle with little ammo, Garrus has health, there are multiple bosses AND you fight ALL the merc groups, which requires a lot of technique changing and the impossible squad changing, and top it all off, its like the first real mission in the game, so you have ****ty weapons, no upgrades and a small amount of week powers. DONT DO THIS MISSION FIRST, DO THE REST! btw I'm talking about the insanity difficulty, as a soldier. :D

Damn, I LOVED the Archangel mission. Sure, there was technically a time limit, but it was managable for all classes/difficulty levels. Plus, the combat in that mission was awesome.

On an unrelated note, Bioware's constant teasing about Garrus' role in the story is killing me. Just announce what type of companion he is Bioware and I'll stop complaining about DA2...ok, I won't stop, but I'll limit myself!

On another unrelated note, hopefully Shepard is able to visit a Turian planet as well. I won't mention specific locations revealed in the spanish magazine, as some may not want to be spoiled, but we've seen Krogan/Asari worlds, and the Turians are pretty much the only ones left at this point.

I plan on re-reading later and posting all my thoughts on it, but just want to say: to all those arrogant fellas who were constantly berating people who destroyed the base and praising Cerberus to no end... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Okay I'm done.

I loved it too. People who claim that it's too hard on Insanity should just practice a little more, or just stay away from games like this.

It's not that I think they're hard, I just don't like them.

Hi! So as I promised I made managed to make the scans from the local Gamestar. I don't think that many of you could read in hungarian, so there will be no spoilers, but the pictures are there nevertheless.

Edit: All right, a small modification, so it won't stand out that much

I DID like it, but I restarted a lot of chekpoints, a lot of times on insanity and the mission kind of kicked my butt as it was my first mission after Freedom's Progress and I was like a level 7 soldier... I hope they change the fact that you almost only level up in 'mission complete' screens for ME3. That linearized the progression.

Why? It's already released, so no problem there, besides these pictures are all over the net...

Copyrights might not agree with you on that one. It's the reason we don't have any GI scans here.

Surely Bioware will listen to their fans again this time around.  They added Tali as a romance in ME2, just like we begged them to do...  They wouldn't take her out of a squad role in the last game, would they?  I was hoping Tali and Garrus would be on my team through the whole trilogy.

Then, Bioware will make a spinoff about Garrus (perhaps about his time on Omega?).  Then they will make a spinoff space-combat (like Wing Commander or Freespace) game set during the First Contact War.  Then they will make a ME MMO.

If they made a game set during the First Contact War it would be terrible. The First contact war was brief. The game would last about 15 minutes.  Garrus on Omega also would b a bad spin off. If they want to make a spin off they should make a game set much much earlier in the mythology. Maybe like the formation of the Spectres.

damn, mordin is blatantly going to be a major player if you want to cure the genophage. and he's dead in my main save (i wrongly assumed he was the natural tech expert..), i hope there is a work around because it feels really false doing a 'perfect playthrough' just to be able to play chunks of the sequal :s

Everyone keeps worrying about the what characters they lost in the ME2 that will be dead in ME3. Just start with a fresh slate, go through the story mode that is confirmed (like in the PS3) and choose the perfect playthrough ending. Then after you have done that and all your options are open to you, import your save from the game and everything will be ok.

I'm heavily dissapointed that, much like the ME novels, Cerberus is shoehorned into an imago of a cardboard villainous organisation. If BioWare comes up with some lousy excuse about TIM being indoctrinated the circle of failure is complete. Sadly, I cannot find any other reason for Cerberus to go totally out of character and chase after Shepard.

I would've liked to be able to choose on whom's side I'd be fighting, Cerberus, Alliance or independent (perhaps with Liara as main source of information).

What happened to freedom of choice?

From what I´ve seen of TIM´s comic, he´d be probably easier to indoctrinate than the average. I´m afraid he´s probably set up for a redemption in death scenario.

Yeah i get your point (i have done playthroughs of ME2 with the default character), but one of the best things about this trilogy is the continuity (so your decisions are what shape the story)... i probably worded it badly before, I wasn't complaining as such, if anything glad that the poorer of my decisions will actually have a negative effect (though i did keep the research and spare maelon so I can see an obvious work around in terms of the genophage).. If executed correctly, ME3 has the potential to eclipse anything else the gaming industry has provided =)

I second Predi1988 pulling the scans -- for his/her own good. Don't get me wrong; I enjoyed looking at them. It's just that if BioWare's treating all magazine pics the way they're addressing GI's, you're going to wind up picking a new user name soon... heh.

Since I can't personally do anything to pull them down before it's too late, I can't help but make a comment. In the picture with male Shepard, Kaidan and Liara, who's that to our left of Kaidan? It looks like it's three inches wide.

There's definitely someone -- or something -- standing alongside the heroic trio of Shepard, Kaidan and Liara. It's just that it appears so squashed that I'm thinking maybe the page was folded a bit. Or maybe it's the world's tiniest full-grown salarian.

Wait a minute, I might just be seeing things, after all. Maybe that's Kaidan's gun and it's being held vertically.

You mean the gun in Kaidan's hand? If so, it's the Scimitar shotgun.
