The Mako sucked; most people agree.
The Hammerhead sucked; most people agree.
Why waste resources on developing something only a small amount of people want when it could be diverted towards something we ALL want, ie. more content.
ME2 was great but most of the levels felt to linear with little exploration in the game. Bioware has stated that ME3 will be about the same in length as ME2 but will have much more replayability. So I am guessing there will be a lot more to do in the game other than just fighting the reapers. Now that doesn't mean that the Mako or the Hammerhead will return in ME3 but maybe we might get something different. I hope Bioware will give us some new worlds to explore in DLC also. The more areas in the game the better. I think what a lot of ME fans care about is how long will the game take to complete? What can I do after I have completed the game a few times? Is there anything more left for me to discover? These questions will be important to the games replayability.
