Wrong. 2011 at the earliest. This was a tech demo issued by the developer in search of an interested publisher.

i hope they can have solved the memory leak issue. even with the enhanced version, my game was still having those issues. man, it was irritating. i still played it far as i could, though, and only got to where i had a decision to let berengar live or die.

I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel. I've even read 2 of the books (Last Wish and Blood of Elves), tho' I never got around to finishing my 2nd play through (other games came up, followed by a HD failure... *shrugs*..not sure I can go back after DA:O, tho'... 
).
As for the memory leak issue: wasn't it fixed prior to Enhanced Ed.? I did, initially, have slow load times and sluggishness due to the memory leak, but after one of the major patches I think it was fixed...right? (and I have a relatively old system: WinXP SP2, P4 3.0GHz, 2GB RAM...the only 'new' thing is my 8800GT 512MB Nvidia GPU)

the support site(s) were in romanian and i couldn't even read what i was supposed to be looking for. it was a patch for the leaks. i'm still going to buy the witcher 2, nonetheless.

I wonder how hilariously bad the female interactions will be in this game. I don't think they can get any worse than the first game, but you never know.

Nonsense. Everyone knows that women exist only to sex up deformed, emotionally stunted mutants, and then give out erotic collector's cards once the aforementioned sexing up has occurred. The Witcher was very realistic in this regard.

I read those two books, as well. And yeah, the load times are just fine now...waaaaay faster than they were with the original version.
