Deafult Hawke looks a bit old for 20-24 years old man.
Yup, that's a fail on BioWare's part. Maybe he has some hyper-aging disease.

Then again this is like the middle ages, people die at 40.

I love your signature.
I wanted to say Hawke is in the mid twenties range at the beginning of Act 1. Maybe get away with 23?

Lothering was a tough paper round.

I imagined Hawke to be around 21-23 but that maybe because that's my age bracket and I relate more.
Your kidding right? I am 21 and he looks old as **** and shoots fireballs, so I find it hard to relate.

I should have been more specific in what I meant.
I was playing as custom female Hawke and the relating part refers to having a younger sibling. Rather than the fantasy part for which I have my imagination.

I think it's left to your own devices to decide. I just can't stand seeing fanart of people who draw their Hawke and characters super young and beautiful >.<.

It felt a little odd when I first made a young-looking custom male Hawke, hearing that "older" voice coming out of him but I got used to it after a while.

Hawke has super Amell genes that keeps him/her youthful and beautiful for longer. Have you seen Leandra? She's waaay hot for having three kids around their twenties.Chiramu wrote...
I want my Hawke to start DA2 at age of 22 so at the end she is like 29/30.

I wish the Black Emporium gave some skin texture options for like minor crows feet or laugh lines. I considered aging my Hawke nearer to the end but the only 'older' texture made her look 60.

Then again, heavy smoking had a lot to do with it (which is why I'm not blessed, or perhaps cursed, with such gravely tones)... maybe they grew a lot of pipe-weed at the Hawke farm?

Very true. Even just a little bit of facial hair can add years. Also, MaleHawke is sporting some scars(default) that can age a man as well. Tossing in that Lothering is a farming community, all day in the sun is not an uncommon thing.

LOL
I never have the youngest skin on, the skin with pores looks infinitely better imo.
I think Bioware needs to do something with their lines on their skin though too; DA2 has inherited from Origins the completely ugly skin textures :<. Why can't our characters look older without being too old? T_T
Leandra isn't too bad though, she looks about 40-50, which is the age a woman with children in their 20s should be. Although with my pore skin texture she actually looked older than I suppose she would if you had the pristine skin texture :/.
