I originally thought it was supposed to be that damage resistance went down every time Sebastien was forced out of party or (it seemed) after each time I returned home. Now I lose an additional 5% DR everytime I'm in party selection screen full stop. Don't use Sebastian, not moved cursor over him and it is CUMPULSORY to go to the character selection screen frequently. Very soon i'm not going to be strong enough to play anymore which is Very sad. This patch can't come soon enough. Do people suppose it'll be relatively soon? I know they have said it has been sent for Microsoft etc authorisation but what are people's predictions for the release of this patch?
Sebastian Glitch is getting worse

You can avoid the Sebastion friendship glitch if you only load a game save with Sebastion in your party. I just recently did a playthrough where I had Isabela's friendship before the end of Act 1, and had zero problems throughout the rest of the game. My warrior never lost any attack speed.
This is absolutely wrong. Saving the game with Sebastian cause the bug to occur. Yes, I have tested it out.

Instead of worrying about when you can save and when you can load, why dont you just be rivals with those 2 and not worry about anything for the rest of the game?
Because that's the complete opposite intention of the game, it's about giving you the choice, not making you have to choose a course of action because of bugs with the game.
I want to be able to be friends with characters I like.

Oh and NEVER EVER go to Hawke's house with Isabela or Sebastian in your party. The same bug problem happens that I referred to about 'to catch a thief'. Because going to Hawke's house with those two in your party forcibly removes them from your party and the thumbs up and sebastian icon's are still in your ability tree's causing the bug glitch.
You can manually remove party members from places such as Hanged Man, Merrill's house, Viscount Keep, Chantry, and the Docks. Pretty much any place that has a party swap other than Hawke's house is viable for this work around.
This work around works extremely well and no bugs happen when you load up the game. Thus you can still be friends with Isabela and Sebastian. I know it's a bit of a pain in the rear to do it the way I described but it's the only way I've found to mitigate the bug.

There is a work around for that. Make sure before you save to manually remove Isabela or Sebastian from your party and then save. This way when you load up the bug doesn't affect you. It's the only work around that I've found that actually works. The only problem that crops up for the bug is when Isabela is forced to leave your party near the end of Act 2 during her personal quest "to catch a thief". If you give her to the Arishok at the end of the Act the bug will be permanently stuck on you. If you defend her, then all you have to do at the beginning of Act 3 is go to the Hanged Man, talk to her to get her to rejoin your party. Go to the party switch place in the Hanged Man, add her to party. Exit party switch, re-enter party switch and then manually remove her from your party.

I think the bug happens if you have Isabela's friendship ability in "Hawke's" skill tree when she is not there. Haven't tested it out yet, but for sure I know Sebastian's bug occurs when you save and load the game when he is in your active party

Oh and going to Hawke's house with Sebastian in the party seemed to give me his glitch but I've went to house with Isabella in team the entire game and I've not suffered any slow down. I have the thumbs up icon permanently but no reduction in speed.
