I really like the champion armour too and hope to see similar sets in DA3.

They have an obsession with spikes. I honestly suspected body tackling would become an ability!

I would hope that if they do the armor, explain some parts of it. Mage champion armor I kind of like but I have a major issue with the metal spit guard. What is the purpose of that metal bib hanging there? If anything, all it does is catch the rain so when Hawke gets thirsty, he/she can Matrix move backwards to get a drink of water.

I loved the mage champion armor the best, especially the fur lining on the chest piece.
I will take cool looking armor over "realistic" designs any day of the week. Besides, this isn't medieval Europe. This is Thedas where armor would have to be designed to reflect this fictional land of magic and mythical creatures.
