Won't take credit for this, but thought I would mention that somebody on another message board has got his copy of the magazine. Some information:

Liara, Ashley, Kaidan and Garrus are confirmed squadmates, and Legion, Wrex, Mordin, Anderson, Udina and TIM will definitely be in the game, but their roles aren't known.

RPG elements are being improved. Powers evolve multiple times, and weapon mods are back.

The game begins on Earth. Shepard is on trial when the Reapers invade, and he escapes on the Normandy (called it!)

Cerberus is out to kill Shepard. They need to make up their minds.

actually cris did say its both. he even said no specific details. im no snitch but id hate to see op get banned for something he missed earlier so i informed op to correct it before a mod came in

Well I edited it to be sure, but looking back Chris said it's okay to quote bits of the article, it's just not okay to write it out word for word. I'll paraphrase the guy's paraphrases just to be sure.

Seriously, what is it with bioware and releasing the beginning of their games pre release?

I already had ME2 (one of the most would-be shocking endings of all time) spoiled for me 8 months before I played the game. Now it looks like the same thing happened to ME3.
