Yeah, the classes being able to carry any weapons, but being limited by slots, it just sounds perfect, the best of ME1 and ME2Captain_Obvious_au wrote...
Javier, you legend! I just read the spoiler-free material, very excited about the weapons info! The mods sound interesting, plus the ability to customise what weapons you actually want to carry as opposed to be limited by class.
Going in to ME3 blind. Who's with me?

Not to mention it just makes the most sense, if Shepard couldn't use certain weapons back in ME1 his/she certainly can now. Plus the way Shep gets his/her new weapon skill in ME2 always felt off to me. If they could use an assault rifle this whole time why weren't they given the option?

You're a real saint, Javier. Thanks for providing a spoiler-free environment!
But on a serious note, if you want your experience of ME3 to be absolutely virginal, aside from knowing changes to Gameplay/Combat, I highly recommend staying away from the forums, and just checking that page. We try to generally keep spoilers out of the forums, but BW's policy is basically anything released by them isn't a spoiler, and with marketing, they generally show atleast some story, so I'd say to be safe than sorry, you know.

Aside from looking at a few tidbits (not all) of the GI info, I'm ok. I already expected everything I did find out, so I'm happy and I believe I can stay away from the spoilers. I just felt this new resolve flow through me. I can do this. This newfound resolve will be fully tested when I buy the ME3 GameInformer and NOT look at it

Also... Javier can you please put up a time and date stamp on your ME3 spoiler free page so we can tell when it has been updated with new info??
Can you check and see if you see the date posted on there? I just want to make sure it's auto-dating itself, google docs can be finicky

well, college kinda forces me to take that pledge. I dont have time to look at videogame magazines.
But yes, I feel sorry for people who had the intro to Mass Effect 2 spoiled for them by reading Magazines. I went into not knowing what was going to happen and darn it was amazing.

Yup, I'm frequently surprised by what they don't consider a spoiler as well. I have been thinking I need to spend less time online/on here but November+ is a long time away... O_O
I think the best I can hope for is to cut down on the forum browsing and then go completely dark a month or two from release. Although I did something similar with DA2 and ended up getting spoiled by a tweet of all things, guh.

I'd love to have the patience of you guys who are gonna go into this game blind, but I couldn't do it with ME1, couldn't do it with ME2, so I'm not even gonna try this time around lol.

After the helpful link Javier posted, it'll be easier. But still, for me at least, it going to be so...so difficult. I mean, it's seems its going to be epic!!!
Anyway, just in case it turns out good, goodbye boards, see ya in 8 to 10 months...
...
...it's impossible!!!! D:
EDIT: Also, Javier, may I suggest at the bottom of your spoiler-free site a one-word description of what you/the boards think about the game as time passes?? (Sth like Awesome!, dissapointing, meh, EPIC, faliure...idk)
It would really help me anyway to know what to expect.

See thats just the funny thing. Just because Bioware says it isn't a spoiler doesn't mean it isn't a spoiler.
For reference:
Spoiler is slang for any element of any summary or description of any piece of fiction that reveals any plot element which will give away the outcome of a dramatic episode within the work of fiction.....
So when Bioware showed videos of the "Wrex Virmire Confrontation" to show how important choice is in ME1, that wasn't a spoiler? Just because it was something that Bioware revealed doesn't mean that it wasn't a spoiler as those videos DID fit into the exact definition of what a spoiler is.
For ME1 and ME2, most of the stuff ruined wasn't from 2nd hand sources but from Bioware themselves.
