Back on topic: Mordin is also confirmed as being in the game (No confirmation if squaddie or not), so again, if he didn't survive the suicide mission, that will affect ME3 in some tangible way.

I am expecting everyone that could die in ME2 to be reduced to cameo status. They did it from ME1 to ME2. No reason to expect otherwise in ME3, and I am ok with it

Ah, you fell for my trap.........!  And hey, know its sounds like I am being negative, but Bioware does know interesting (new) characters!

Fact that Liara and Ashley are confirmed squadmates was borderline shocking to me, so that is pretty sweet!

So, I may have to play through the games again and romance a certain person simply because of how good a picture looks....daaaang.

Oh yeah, and no Zaeed confirmed as a love interest. NOT BUYING THE GAME IT DOESN'T TAKE MY LOVE FOR HIM IN ME2 INTO CONSIDERATION. /sarcasm

That said, I don't know how someone looking at the list of confirmed features could possible say that Bioware doesn't listen. I see at least 2 things on that list that people have whined about quite a bit.

Quite a few of them are confirmed Squad members. Some characters from ME2 weren't mentioned, but you can't expect them to mention every character. But like I said, check the article, you're going to be very surprised. Let me just say this, ME1's decisions mattered more than we expected

Patience is going to be needed unfortunately. I expect some companions will be closely tied to the main plot, and as such their reveals could be quite some time in coming (some might even be left as a surprise, who knows). Of course it's unlikely everyone will return as well, which is just going to make this that much more difficult. But judging by the first confirmations I don't think many will be disappointed...
