Damn, I agree with you, though. Been up all night, and the second I planned on going to bed, I made the mistake of reading this.
Bad move. Now can't leave. lol

Mass Effect has never been short of facepalms and WTFLOLs. They're game designers, not gods. Hopefully, whatever they do isn't so horribly contrived that it forces me to walk all the way to Edmonton and slap Casey Hudson in the face.Saphra Deden wrote...
HA! I'm sure you'd like to think that. I would too. However Mass Effect 2 has given me some serious doubts about that.
Regardless of how Liara gets back on the squad, do you think we can we get her killed this time?

Hopefully. We need to turn over the Shadow Broker network to Cerberus.

Probably not going to happen as they're confirmed wanting to kill us.

They haven't confirmed anything until the game is released. Cerberus being after you may be dependent on choices you have made.
Even if they want to kill me though, that doesnt mean I want to kill them.

I'm just passing along the gameinformer info, I take no responsiblity for it's veracity, though it does say a lot that bioware stickied a thread about it.

Well, for me, I'm pretty much covered. Garrus is back in full force, while Wrex, Legion, and Mordin have at least confirmed roles. I wasn't expecting the other two in my Top Six--Kasumi and Samara--to return, anyway.Aislinn Trista wrote...
Garrus and the VS coming back makes me go *squeee*. Now, ahem, they just need to add a few more people to that list and I'll be happy.
Would like to hear more about Thane/Miranda/Jack/Grunt/Tali/Jacob, though. Zaeed... Well, DLC. Sorry, buddy.

Doesn't have to be. If you destroyed the base, he's obviously pissed. If you didn't destroy the base, you're a loose end.Saphra Deden wrote...

I'm sure it's shockin' the hell outta some people that Mordin is coming back.
I'm sure we'll find out more about the others soon.

I don't know, maybe it's complicated. Perhaps the Reapers have indoctrinated the Cerberus cell and are just trying to pit you against one of your strongest allies.

Or maybe TIM knows something about Shep that others don't. Maybe Shep's a weakness, a walking target for the Reapers, Candidate #1 for Saren 2.0. Maybe killing Shep would eliminate a valuable resource for the Reapers...Wolverfrog wrote...
Cerberus wanting to kill you seems to be at odds with the Illusive Man's opinions of Shepard in Retribution. And remember the Illusive Man is standing with you in the Arrival-countdown-time reaching zero flashforward.

Or maybe TIM's mad that you took off with his ship. Or something else happens in the first few scenes that kind of pisses him off.

Cerberus wanting to kill me is really no big surprise - I always figured he just wanted me for the Collector Base mission and after that - too much of a loose cannon.

"No."
