Mass Effect has never been short of facepalms and WTFLOLs.  They're game designers, not gods.  Hopefully, whatever they do isn't so horribly contrived that it forces me to walk all the way to Edmonton and slap Casey Hudson in the face.

Regardless of how Liara gets back on the squad, do you think we can we get her killed this time?

Just the fact that the hype train is starting again, is enough to make me giddy. Add in the fact that liara, the VS, and Garrus are all back for more than a cameo and customization is bigger and better and I am one happy clam! This is gonna be a happy holiday this year.

Well, for me, I'm pretty much covered.  Garrus is back in full force, while Wrex, Legion, and Mordin have at least confirmed roles.  I wasn't expecting the other two in my Top Six--Kasumi and Samara--to return, anyway.

Would like to hear more about Thane/Miranda/Jack/Grunt/Tali/Jacob, though.  Zaeed...  Well, DLC.  Sorry, buddy.

Cerberus wanting to kill you seems to be at odds with the Illusive Man's opinions of Shepard in Retribution. And remember the Illusive Man is standing with you in the Arrival-countdown-time reaching zero flashforward.

I don't know, maybe it's complicated. Perhaps the Reapers have indoctrinated the Cerberus cell and are just trying to pit you against one of your strongest allies.

Cerberus wanting to kill me is really no big surprise - I always figured he just wanted me for the Collector Base mission and after that - too much of a loose cannon.
