Cerberus wanting to kill me is really no big surprise - I always figured he just wanted me for the Collector Base mission and after that - too much of a loose cannon.

Meh, what's four billion creds, anyway?

Are we sure it isn't... 6 billion? Because you know, I have a tracksuit and a theme song all ready. Just sayin'.

TIM is the father of Charile Sheen after all.  Charile Sheen may be bi-winning, but TIM is tri-winning.

Doesn't have to be. If you destroyed the base, he's obviously pissed. If you didn't destroy the base, you're  a loose end.

A loose end in what way?

The only realistic explanation I can see right now is the Reapers demanding Shepard in return for sparing the Earth.

However in that case I'd kind of think Shepard would be willing to turn himself over.

Whatever the case, like I said, nothing is confirmed until the game is out. I wouldn't lend Bioware's hype all that much credit. They aren't trustworthy.

Well, you know, factor in how much of TIM's money Shep spent on booze, strippers, and porn...

Yes, you are most definitely entitled to your theme song.

The Thresher maw bit sounds epic.

The Thresher is obviously kicking the Reaper's arse underground with its hidden lasers.

This is why he's so pissed I blew up the Collector base - no return on investment. ^_^

Ugh, the Cerberus thing is really frustrating me. I'd think the writers themselves would be past the general idealism the forums portray in arguments and would actually step up to the plate and keep Cerberus in the gray area (sort of like they did in ME2).

Now we're suddenly forced to believe that The Illusive Man and Cerberus want to kill the (wo)man they know can save the galaxy, the (wo)man who can probably assist them in gaining technology, the (wo)man who could support almost everything they do and the (wo)man who TIM himself considers working with again in the novel regardless of Collector Base because he recognizes the threat of the Reapers?

If this happens regardless of ME2 events and choices, I'll rip out my hair. Renegades are never patted on the back, Paragons are celebrated and now we're getting slapped in the face some more if this is for everybody.

This will be my face if Cerberus wants my pro-Cerberus main Shepard dead.

Hm Ashley what have they done to you...I suppose she is not in Aliance anymore due to the loose hair and cleavage (I guess this was innevitable)...

On the other hand I kinda like that they beefed up a bit the RPG part...hope it's not just PR...

I cannot be certain of the authenticity of the post given it came from GameFAQs, however the user in question did provide webcam pictures of the magazine. Regardless, it never hurts to discuss the possibility and those who do subscribe can confirm or deny here whether what was said is indeed accurate. Spoilers are obvious to some extent but according to Game Informer, the following has been confirmed.

Liara
Ashley/Kaidan
Garrus
James Sanders (believed to be the sniper from the trailer)

All four will be active squad mates, Garrus obviously dependent on his status at the conclusion of ME2. In addition, there is no multiplayer, Earth will not have significant involvement in the storyline and Wrex, Mordin, Legion, and Anderson are confirmed but not yet known to be squadmates.

The post can be found here. Take it for what you will.

its all confirmed. a dev confirmed it in the mass effect 3 game informer thread in non spoilers. i do have some of the scans....

****IN A!

Bware keeps experimenting with formula's in their games.

ME 1 good, 2 great 3 sounds like it will be off the hook!

with Dragon age, origins great, 2 not so great but still good if a bit mixed wrong, experimentation fail
i'm expecting better things with 3 or whatever it's called that side :)

This. Seriously. I hope Bioware doesn't pander to the simple crowd.

Exactly my sentiments Dave. If my Pro-Cerberus Shep has to fight against them there better be a damn good explanation.

That looks like the modded Alliance casual uniform, and it's Alliance blue. I think they just wanted to sexy her up, considering how much more popular Miranda was, even though Miranda had a fraction of the personality and depth Ashley had. Nobody liked Miranda for her personality, yet she was one of the most popular characters. Ashley, on the other hand, was rarely given a chance by most fans.

I like how the board immediately goes back to kissing Bioware's ass, after calling them sellouts for most of the year.

I think most of the people in this thread are the lovahs, not the fightas.

*Raises hand* I'm a sort of half-hearted fighta, does that count?

It's looking more promising, but I'm still cautious.  Until I see how they interpret 'RPG features' etc then I'll remain skeptical.  If they show what I'm hoping for then yeah, I'll probably slip quietly into the other group. :P
