Because they selfishly risk innoccent lives to satisfy their own moral code and have yet to suffer any consequences.

Opinion, not fact.  Diplomacy and taking others into consideration =/= lawful stupid.  If you're free to make the "Renegades =/= Jerk statement, than the reverse is true for paragons, sorry mate.

I disagree.
The renegade =/= jerks statement is based on the fact that the major renegade choices are not jerky. Paragon major decisons on the other hand are still idealistic and reckless and remain unpunished.
E.g) unleashing a species of bugs that can populate a planet in a few months, curing a pissed off species of big arse dinosaurs thus allowing them to replenish their numbers, blowing up potential weapons/information on the unbeatable race of machines that have wiped out all life countless times etc.

Renegade =/= always picking lower right option.
These 'jerk' options exist so players can properly role-play their character and have them be able to hate certain characters.
What makes a Shepard a renegade is primarily what 'major' decisions they make, all of which are perfectly sound and reasonable and not reckless and corrupted by emotion (like the paragon)

More opinions (speaking about the "reckless and corrupted by emotion" statement).  I made several videos about how Paragon decisions have logic and reasoning behind them as well.  Again, not everything a Paragon does is fueled by feelings and mindless idealism.

I'll make a note to watch them.

Not just yet, there's still hope.

I'm sorry, but I think it would great if Paragons could get some validation that "No matter what the Renegades say, even if they might be right, you're not wrong either."
Which is perfectly fair.

I on the other hand would prefer consequences based on the individual choice as opposed to things being 'fair' for both sides.
Made a stupid renegade decision? suffer the consequences.
Made a stupid paragon decision? suffer the consequences.

Did you all see the bit about weapons mods? Being able to change scopes, barrels, etc. to customize weapon performance!!!!

(in the sticky'd thread)

Of course, my impression is that we're still gonna be dealing with thermal clips, but oh well. ;)

OH            MY             GOOOOOOOOD!

There will be Crysis in my Mass Effect and I will love it. I shall name it CryEffect and it will be mine. It will be my CryEffect.

If this is true and is well implemented, I will personally send an email of thanks to EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of Bioware in existance, whether they worked on ME or not.

Actually, that'd probably just creep them out. Maybe a dollar instead...

It's a bad sign when multiple forumites expect a humorous reaction from someone. Zulu, take note because we all have your number.

I would go off on a huge rant about how each of these decisions makes as MUCH sense as the Renegade version, but it's 4am and while I am awake enough to do so, I shouldn't be.  Suffice it to say none of these decisions are inherently bad.  Perhaps for a Renegade-centric player, they are, but both sides have equally valid and reasonable ideas.

[quote]I'll make a note to watch them.[quote]
Sadly, I never did get around to the CB Decision video due to IRL and general laziness.  That and the editting software I was using went defunct.  I do cover Bring Down The Sky, The Rachni Queen, and The Council though.

As for your last bit, the problem is the decisions HAVE to be fair.  It would be a stupid decision on Bioware's part from a marketing standpoint to make one side seem at ALL superior to the other.  Both sides have to have an equal and even chance of success.  Which is WHY I'm rooting for the "TIM guns for you regardless".  Because it's an even consequence.

It makes sense for those last to die on the SM to be making a return, since like most players have what was it? 86% survivors from the SM on average? So the last to die being Garrus, Grunt, Legion etc are more likely to be making a return than those first to die (Tali etc).

Uh, Legion can "die first" along with Tali.

well he doesn't die even if he does right since the geth aren't individuals? One perspective gets killed but legion will still be alive.

Several of his recent threads are completely contradicted by this article. Trial on Earth being a prime example.

My dream squad for ME3 has always been: Legion, Garrus, Liara, Wrex, Mordin, Kai/Ash, the bad ass from the trailer, Tali and maybe Kasumi if she gets fleshed out more!

I hope the rest still make it or make them optional squadies :D

We are Geth, we are all Geth. Legion could have uploaded information to the Geth prior to the SM, so he remembers everything but the SM if he dies :P Easy retcon!

But he says he's unable to upload info when he's "dying" during the SM. :P

I said before though ;D At one point during a conversation he reaches out to the Geth beyond the veil to exchange data.
