I'm glad to see Ashley back. I like her with her hair down. As long as she wears armor in battle, she can wear a catsuit on the ship. Hopefully ME3 has casual and armored looks for squad mates in addition to Shepard.

Finally people can stop beaching about Ashley and Kaiden. We all knew they'd be in Mass Effect 3 and I'm glad to see a picture of Ashley and her new look. She looks great. Wait... what's that I hear? Is that.. is that the sweet sound of fffffuuuu? The beautiful taste of a distant yell of anger? Oh wait... what's that you say BioWare Fans?

I have -one- femshep playthrough. Which I'm doing right now, to hear the voice actress' take on the lines. (Which is awesome, by the way.)
But I, as a -dude-, can't stand the way she talks to Jacob. I want to pick the "let's be friends!" and "no, thanks!" options, but what I get is a sultry "You're not blowin' me off that easily, mister!" >_> She's like.... "Wow, look at those fine abs! TAKE ME NOW!" Which just feels so bloody awkward/forced.

Ash was my first LI. I'm not disappointed. Though I admit I like Liara and Miranda better (face on the first assets on the second). I always liked Ash's tomboyish personality most out of the 3. Now she can keep up. Regardless my Sentinel Shep will be happy. What can I say, I'm shallow. At least I admit.

- I'm glad to see Ashley's hair down. (I applaud Bioware, keeping the same cup of M1 to M3, it would have been really sucks)

- I'm glad to see Ashley in civilian clothes at least once.
- I am happy with her return as a recruitable character.

If she kept her personality (which I have no doubt )she will be even sweeter.

I guess it's good I have an ME1 savegame where I romanced Ashley. I was always torn between Liara and Ashley. I always thought Liara was good for Shepard's state of mind, but Ashley understands Shepard's feelings better, both of them being soldiers.

The main thing bothering me about this is because she's a marine, she's excessively loyal to the alliance and she's more proffessional than just letting her hair fly around while she's trying to aim a gun. Miranda pulls it off because she's supposed to be overly skanky and flaunting her appearance. For Ashley as a character it really makes no sense.

I might have actually romanced her once or twice if she looked like that in the first game.

But I appreciate what her new look seems to represent: that she has grown more into her own person, a more independant one at that. Fitting for a Spectre.

If nothing else, Ashley being made MORE sexy is certainly not going to turn me off the character. And she was already pretty F-I-N-E to begin with.

EDIT: Also yes, it does seem like there is a rule about scans. So the OP might want to take them down.

Absolutely agree with this.  She looks very improved since Mass Effect 1 in terms of style and attractiveness.  In my opinion, she can compete with Miranda and Tali now.  IMHO, she looks even better, but still retains the same facial structure so you can tell it is still her.

I never thought this would actually end up happening...what a pleasant surprise!  Can this information provided be verified?

I just hope she is still a LI and that the story of ME3 permits my Shepard reconciling with her...
