Yeah, if she comes back at the end of Act II (there is the possibility that she'll run off for good if you haven't got her Friendship/Rivalry high enough) and you don't let the Arishok take her, then she'll remain a party member for Act III.

She likes big boats. She cannot lie.

You realize you just quoted the part where he sold her out to the Qunari? Loyalty isn't the issue, she might be dead, or stripped of her free will.Maria Caliban wrote...

OP, what were you expecting? You totally screwed her over. If you want Isabela to stick around you have to refuse to hand her over. You can then duel the Arishok yourself or refuse and fight him and the reat of the Qunari with the help of your party.

Please don't try to defend her because you're doing a poor job of it.

Thank you. Go Isabella! I wouldn't have returned either.

Yup this. Returning the first time didn't work out so well for her.

Surely you know that isn't true? If you earned her loyalty, she comes back for you.

No, Varric heard that she escaped. Newsflash: rumour is not fact. He clearly states that he never saw her again, so actually, nothing is known about her fate. At all.Maria Caliban wrote...

And you can drop the condescending attitude because if you'd actually read what I wrote, I wasn't defending anybody, I was merely stating the truth. If you want to turn over the only party member that shows notable growth, in a futile attempt to appease an extremist group with long-term plans for military conquest, that's totally your choice.
What do you mean by "women like Isabela" anyway? You're making an extremely generalizing statement about an ill-defined sub-set of females. What is it about Isabela that suggests a predisposition to betrayal? Her clothing? Her casual attitude to sex?

Oh my god... I'm still giggling at this!
To the OP, the game just isn't as fun without Isabela.

I was angry that she betrayed me the first time, causing the death of hundreds, returning once is no longer important does not changes anything, but still I defended her, then in Act III she has a banter with Anders where he recriminates her that she is responsible for all of those deaths, and she does not express any type of remorse, I REALLY wish I could kill her, handing her over to the Qunari is no punishment as she escapes only 3 days later as has being pointed out.
I realize Isabela racks up quite a body count by the end of the game what with her being a rather massive damage machine, but in the case of the Qunari attack... why would you say that it's Isabela's fault that the Qunari killed so many people, and not the Qunari's fault that the Qunari killed so many people? I mean.. honestly, it's not like Isabela ran around killing civilians. She didn't use blood magic to force the Qunari to attack. She may have been the reason the Qunari were there, but the Qunari are the reason the Qunari were killing people.

I think she feels remorse, but like Zevran sees no point in flagellating herself over what is already done. I do agree that she's too glib. Still, in the end it was the Arishok's decision to attack the city for its "depravity" and no one else's. Even when you tell him who has the relic and promise to help get it back, he goes ahead with his exalted march.Andronic0s wrote...

Besides, I also love ice cream. You should have been able to tell that from the name.

Really? You don't see the point in killing the military leader of an extremist cult that not only strips individuals of their free wiil, but whose long term goal is to conquer and violently convert every civilization they encounter? Neither Sten nor the Arishok make even the slightest attempt to hide the fact that the Qunari plan to invade all of Thedas.Orion34 wrote...
The Arishok is very strong, honest and worthy of respect. I don't see the point in killing him to defend someone who is the exact opposite.
And the Arishok is a hypocrite. He demands that Isabela be made to submit to Qunari law but refused to hand over Kirkwall criminals when the same request was made of him. If murderous elves are free of Kirkwall justice because they submit to the law of the Qun, then the opposite should be said for Isabela, whose direct crime, theft, is much less severe.
