I don't understand why they made Isabela dark skinned after she was white with red-hair in DA:O. Not that I'm complaining, but I just think it's odd. Did they not want her to remind people too much of Leliana?
Huh?
Reddish hair I guess, but she was always dark skinned. Not as much as DA2 though.

So I give her to the Arishok, she asks to fight me. Arishok says she's not worthy to fight me. Sure, maybe I want to knock her unconcious or something. Instead I get Hawke saying something like "I won't fight you!" It felt quite pathetic.
And then she escapes 3 days later from the damn qunari. This gave me a mary-sue impression from her. I can understand Bioware not killing the character, but the qunari are really useless if they let her slip away like that. I believe it's not even "just a rumor Varric heard" because appereantly if you read Isabella's codex after it says the same thing. (not 100% sure of it)
But I doubt they would have made Varric say that if it wasn't true. So, I don't think the ending is worth it. I guess it is if you like the Arishok so much you want him to live, but other than that it feels unsatisfying.

It was the lighting in the Pearl. I can't remember if it was Mary Kirby or Sheryl Chee that created Isabela's face, but when they did so, she had the second-to-darkest possible skin tone and brown hair. The lighting in the Pearl made everyone's skin look like that, and gave her hair a reddish tinge.
Edit: Found a screenshot of Isabela's head from the DA:O data with no colored lighting effects.

Seriously, she could be played by Rose McGowan.

Rose does run around braless in many of the episodes of Charmed I've seen her in... another similarity perhaps?

Charmed made me appreciate other TV shows. Also made me think Alyssa Milano got really skinny.

Yes, before Charmed I was a loving, caring and charitable sweetie who took care of the sick and elderly.
What harm hath Charmed wrought upon it's victims!

Before I watched Charmed, I was full of love for Alyson Hannigan. After I watched Charmed, I was full of love for Alyson Hannigan.
It's a poor man's Buffy.

Angel taught us important moral lessons. Like no good deed goes unpunished, and everybody in the world is a jerk.
.... sort of like DA2 come to think of it.

Buffy was crap. Joss Whedon is like some 15 pound leech suckling on pop culture and being petted for making it weaker.ishmaeltheforsaken wrote...

Bah, mid-season Buffy was quite good before it went all soap-operay.

The Arishok is very strong, honest and worthy of respect. I don't see the point in killing him to defend someone who is the exact opposite.
Um, no he's a brute who likes to kill innocent people and force some extreme version of comunisim.
I kill him every time for what he did to the viscount.
His "manly" factor is no excuse.

I always felt that Buffy kind of went off the rails when they graduated from high school.

In general, I agree, but I felt the seventh season was the best.
Regardless, the best thing I credit it with is leading me to Angel.
