I admit my eyes do tend to gravite if charmed is on. Didn't help when they added Rose.

I was angry that she betrayed me the first time, causing the death of hundreds, returning once is no longer important does not changes anything, but still I defended her, then in Act III she has a banter with Anders where he recriminates her that she is responsible for all of those deaths, and she does not express any type of remorse, I REALLY wish I could kill her, handing her over to the Qunari is no punishment as she escapes only 3 days later as has being pointed out.

She ran off with the idol which I figured she'd do when I said I would turn it over, but I did want her to show up again so I could kill her. Bioware clearly has future plans for her, but there was no magic fix all for her (ie. Leliana and the ashes or I'm sure Anders had Pancea up and the murder knife didn't actually kill him because the would healed around the blade or some idiocy) so she had to leave all together.

She ran off with the Tome you mean. Could argue that they do have plans for her cause of her plot armor. That is true. She like Varric and Cullen are characters you cannot kill. This could equate to having importance in DA3. Or it could just mean they happen to be alive and the crisis point for Izzy would have just been her running.

This is why the murderdecapitator or the murderlightningboltofdoom needs to be added in for DLC.
