There were so many people complaining about how this is a rip off of Mass Effect series and it will follow ME series in streamlining the RPG element. Little did we know that they would follow the first ME and not the critically acclaimed sequel.

There were hordes of people who took issue with reused maps after mass effect came out. Which bioware took care of in ME 2. There are no two maps that are identical. Sure some might have similar doors and textures but that's hardly the same thing.

You people KNEW we would hate it and you still did it why? I thought when an engine is made it hardly takes any time making new maps infact mods made a few new maps for DAO and considering you claim to be employing industry's best you could have certainly done better.

The grind was obvious and irritating. Yes the combat system is amazing and I love it doesn't mean that I want to kill some random thousand dudes every other night. Every time you enter a map at night some companion or the other will speak of killing people and getting rewards and that was the most iriitating thing.

And it won't be just 5 dudes trying to mug passerbys. There are like 100 odd mercenaries including blood mages, assassins, commanders. I think they were the most immideate threat to kirkwall.

The side quests were uninteresting and a chore. There not even a single new map for a side quests. Compare this to some of the most amazing side quests in ME2.

Searching for clues on a wrecked ship (barely hanging in balance over a cliff) in ME2, amazing atmoshphere, a new map a total diversion from the combat.

Looking for wrecked Normandy. Being nostalgic + awesome atmosphere.

Even DAA had better side quests. Blighted orphans was a good series of side quests.

I know you had a deadline and you need money because this is a business. And we wouldn't have given two thoughts if this was another random shooter or another in the COD series. But this is not.

This is still a really good game though. Its has a very different and amazing overarching story. Nice to have our own family and own voice. Amazing dialogs, excellent VO.

The only people who I think deserve appreciation are the writers and the VO artists. Rest is pretty much average or even less.

The most dull and boring landscape ever. The city looks like a ghost town. There are like 5 guards, 2 dwarves and 3 humans in the whole city of kirkwall and people wait for seven years to get  an audience with the viscount.

Next time you want to make a city go the assassins creed or the GTA way.

Also a request to any bioware rep who reads this post. Go home and play the first hour of both DAO and DAII. And ask yourself which is the better game and play the dwarven noble origin. Both start with you having a family and see where you feel more connected.
