They should get it in my opinion as they are fans too and supported the game to the point where it could be ported to PS3 (which I say thank you very much, your all awesome :D) but it looks like PC and Xbox360 player will get one for Mass Effect 3 along with PS3 gamers.

What an odd reversal of the forum reaction to ME2 being announced for PS3. With barely any posters supporting your POV mind. How about we all agree that letting someone else play something you thought was good isn't a bad thing, yes even if they are on the dreaded Xbox, sharing makes the world go round.

And I have no idea about it coming to ME2 owners, but a similar but expanded comic is set to come packaged with every copy of ME3 for starting a new game without importing (according to the GI article).

I own the PS3 version and the comic book is what I think helps give the PS3 version more of it's identity.  I think Bioware kind of owes PS3 gamers for making us wait a year to play this masterpiece so I think we're entitled to content that owners of other platforms don't have access to, especially considering we paid full price.

I have heard the comic book is going to become a piece of DLC for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game and I hope that doesn't happen because it's only fair having waited a year that PS3 owners get special stuff not to mention never having even had access to the original game in the first place.

So basicly you're saying you're a PS3 fanboy and you feel that your favoured format needs to have special considerations.

What a suprise.

Its not a case of Bioware 'owing' anybody. The fact that they took the time to give you the game at all should be compensation enough for waiting a year. Besides, you got slightly improved graphics and all the DLC.

That is a flat out lie.  We still had to pay for Arrival and the alternate appearance packs.
Also, the reduced price of the retail versions of Mass Effect 2 for other platforms still makes the PS3 version the most expensive even factoring in DLC prices.

We PS3 gamers deserve exclusive content.

PS3 gamers don't deserve anything. You're gamers just like us. You're lucky Bioware decided to port ME2 at all.

Heck, you still have to spend less on DLC than the rest of us.

Substantially less than PC players - XBOX and PS3 players get some content either free or there are occasional sales when it's available more cheaply. PC players always pay full price - not that that prevented me from buying all the DLC, but still!

Yay that comic was sooo special it let me make three choices. It gave the game so much depth and meaning, my PS3 character was so much better than my imported level 60 done everything adept. I'll just go toss my xbox version in the bin because that comic makes the PS3 version the best! Oh wait...There's no decision for Feros, gotta be a psycho there...And the ME2 world seems so dead and empty without my little side quest impacts...Oh well.
The comic was only good for making and moderately not insane Shepard...then becoming DW7.

I say keep it on the PS3. I don't really care about it because of its inaccuracies and the fact that it's missing a lot of stuff. PC and 360 have ME1, which is way better than some comic IMO.

IMO PS3 should have never got the game in the first place. Made the rest of us wait for content.

Why are you suggesting we didn't pay full price for the game? The only thing I didn't pay for was ME2 on PC and that's because I got it free with Dragon Age 2.

You do know about the PC version account entitlements right? Zaeed, Firewalker, Cerberus weapon and armor, and the like are all available for PC gamers free if you bought the game new.

I love that line. He doesn't seem all that put out by the fact they're about to face a cave troll so much as offended that the orcs are playing dirty.

That said, I don't believe that any platform get exclusive content forever.

I got every line of dialogue from Mass Effect. I also got a full romance from Liara, Kaidan, and Ashley through playing the game, instead of a line of text and a bad drawing. You can keep the comic. It is all yours. Oh, and I got to import a lvl 60 Vanguard. Seriously, keep the comic.

Being a PS3 player, I most likely will never get to meet Conrad Verner :(  Or any of the other characters that were only available from an ME1 import.  Granted, I don't really know what I'm missing, but I know that comic doesn't make up for not having ME1 very well (though from what I understand, the Udina/Anderson choice doesn't matter in ME1 anyway, since they make you repick in ME2).

One of the bad things about that comic: PC and Xbox players were so excited that the VS (lingo I picked up here) were coming back as squad mates in ME3.  As a PS3 player, I have no attachment to them and don't care.  Comic did a terrible job with those characters.  ME2 does absolutely nothing to make you want those two characters around.  I did get to liking Liara at least, thanks to LotSB, but Kaiden/Ash are just blah.  Wrex seems like he's a character I could like, but I didn't get to spend much time with him (same for the VS).

Hopefully my sister's husband will finally get ME1 on his PC (mine can't play it) and I'll finally understand what the big deal is, but yeah, that comic, from what I can tell, does not do ME1 any justice at all.  Any new comic is probably going to be just as bad.  /hug for people that get stuck using it  because they haven't got another ME game to import from :(

Uh, nobody owes playstation 3 owners anything. You got Mass Effect 2, which had previously been a microsoft exclusive. I don't see any playstation exclusives coming to 360, so quit your whining. Geez.

Come on guys - the OP posted twice in this thread (which includes the first post). No point keeping this thing going.

However, I will say this:

"Fanboys are a waste of genetic potential, that's how we get throwbacks like the trolldat-yakshi"

10 points if someone can pick where I pilfered that quote from (and subsequently butchered it).

Was it one of the two asari in Baria Frontiers on Illium?

PS: Wondefull butchering job +10

[/off topic]

I play on x-box, and i'd actully like the comic. I've played Mass Effect, so i dont care about content, but changing major decisions without playing the game over again? sign me up!

Also, I think that "making the comic available everywhere" is mostly a marketing thing, to rope in the last few people who are on the fence about playing ME3, but haven't played 1 and 2. For them, the comic may well be enough, and if it makes a few hundred more people play the game, then it's a net win for everyone.

Or they could just go back to the good 'ole days of Mass Effect and not give PS3 owners the game.

Since you want to whine about a comic book and all.
