Do you generally use all the DLC extras on all your companions for act 1? Like giving the staff of parthalan to your mage and fadeshear+shield to aveline along with some for yourself perhaps?
Mostly. I use the Staff of Parlathan, Apostate's Courage, Might of the Sten, Lion of Orlais, accessories, etc. on myself/my party, and it gets me through the first act very well. Some other purchases I'd suggest are the Staff of the Primal Order, Desdemoda's Blade and Lady Rosamund's Bulwark from the Black emporium for Aveline, they're great items for early-game.

i had vodka and redbull last night too, keeps you up waaaaaay too long
I had like 4-5 RBVs in addition to some other stuff, and I was totally off my ass. I'm not a violent drunk at all, but there's just something about having an upper and a downer in your system that makes you want to break things and fight people.
It also made my reflexes utterly superhuman; I went to play my Berserker Vanguard and do Repentance (video here), because Mage was moving like molasses, and Berserker/Reaver's 100%+ attack speed was still too slow. I'm moving pretty damn fast in the video, upon watching it in hindsight, but when I played it, it was like I didn't have any speed buffs.
I am an alcoholic Superman, and I don't know how I feel about that. Awesome?

Anders/PC Hawke
(Spirit Bolt/Spirit Strike, Walking Bomb/Corrosive Walking Bomb/Virulent Walking Bomb, Glyph of Paralysis/Binding)
Enemy: Paralyzed - Walking Bomb
Enemy: Clustered with at least three enemies - Glyph of Paralysis
Enemy: Paralyzed - Use current condition for next tactic
Enemy: Target of Anders - Spirit Bolt
Sebastian/Varric
(Fatiguing Fog/Impenetrable Fog/Overpowering Fog)
Enemy: Paralyzed - Fatiguing Fog
Enemy: Paralyzed - Use current condition for next tactic
Enemy: Target of Anders - Attack
With this, the detonating enemy is immobilized, and you can unload on them/move your party out of the way if the need be, and it's basically hands-free! This is the tactics setup I've been using in my recent videos, so try it out, and let me know what you think.

I know, right? Drunken Taco Bell hits the spot something FIERCE! I could enjoy that last, delicious bit of my hard-shell taco for hours! Moments of pure ecstacy stretched to an eternity!

Elemental Force/Blood Mage - Inside Job/Family Matter
If I'dve double-chunked the Assassins at 40s, I would've shat my pants. I was so sad.
Forgot my fun fact again
Did you know that every single time I fight a Monstrous Spider, I lower the difficulty to casual, look away from the screen, and mash attacks?

Also, did you take any of the Assassins out of stealth? Feels good, don't it?
Brekker is a joke, Dog for Champion of backstabs.

Ah, so that's it. I was too early! Live and learn, thanks for the tip.AreleX wrote...
If you want to reliably take an Assassin out of stealth with moves like Pull/CoC, the trick is waiting until they are COMPLETELY invisible, no puff of smoke left behind or anything. Then, it's just a matter of making a good guess at where they are.

what spells do you got now, and can you post stats and gear at endgame?
Don't worry, I'll have all of this information compiled relatively soon. Reason I haven't done it as I've gone along is because I don't want to be giving people bad advice while I try things out.

Ta kill ya (see tequilla) however is the devil. Last time I had that I woke up in a bathroom with my pants around my ankles. My ass didn't hurt though so I'm pretty sure I wasn't raped. Life leason, stay away from that crap!

Tequila ain't no kinda good, man. Nothing but vomit fuel and anger, and just smelling the stuff is enough to make me dry heave. Vodka for life.

I saw some Qunari fight requests in here, so I recorded my run throug the end of Act II. Warning: EXTREME dirtiness ahead, probably the best video yet. Video not suitable for viewing by small children, Grumpy Old Wizard.

Look at those crazy damage numbers.
And oh yes, this is the best one yet!

Bah, Jameson on the rocks, every day and any day. Or Guinness. If I only could drink one thing until the day I died, it'd be Guinness. Or Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. Either way, can't go wrong.
That being said, I continue to be impressed. Did you largely ignore the Primal tree except for Rock Armor and Chain Lightning + Chain Reaction? Thought about it for a quick bit and figured that's the only way you'd fit Elemental, FM and BM in by the time you'd have to nuke the Qunari into oblivion.

Very impressive. *notes you heal off Anders a lot*
As for request, Charade fight? ("What's a Mekhal?")
