When there were more than a dozen in ME2 already.
We don't know much about him, but I'm guessing he's either a soldier or a scientist we pick up early on in the game.
Will he be the only new squadmate? Or does BioWare have plans for more?

He could be related to the woman from the books (though I haven't read the books).

Oh I thought I read somewhere that they confirmed it isn't Big Ben. 0:
Edit: Yeah. Thanks, Pacifien.

Why adding some new unsignificant human to the squad ? If he is realy to become fully selectable squadmate he'd better have some good story about him, last thing we need is some borring unsignificant Team member.

Well it says here that he's her son.
That can't be true surely ? I mean I have read all the books and Kahlee Sanders is one of my favourite characters in the ME universe (really hope to god she is in ME 3) and nowhere does it suggest she ever had a son or even a brother. I was under the impression she was an only child, never married and never had children.

This guy might just fry chicken for a living for all we know. I dunno how there will be enough time to develop this guy to the level the rest of Shep's crew will have been done by the end of ME3. It'd suck if he were just some forgettable guy like Jenkins.Siansonea II wrote...
Who cares? He's a human! Yay! I hope he's hawt.

I seriously have a bad feeling that this guy will be ME3's Jenkins. The video that Game Informer saw was of the prologue right? We all know what happens to the second squadmate we get.

Mass effect 3 would be incomplete without an obligatory red shirt at the start.JukeFrog wrote...

Still, don't remember Wilson or Jenkins being announced, and I doubt they'd announce a red shirt, so I'm pretty sure he is a squadmate.
