Just wondered if you can romance both Merrill and Isabela?

you can, but can only settle on one I think. So can have a one night fling with isabela then romance merrill.

I doubt you can finish both, but it's possible to bed them.

i judt finished my romance with isablela and had meril move in

what happens with isabela is a fling. you have to keep flirting with her and get both her gifts to be able to finish the romance near the end of the game

It is possible to complete both romances in one game. My last playthrough my mage romanced Isabela. In Act 3 Merrill showed up after her quest and initiated romance dialogue - she was on full rivalry at this point. I had her move in and got kisses from both Isabela and Merrill in the Gallows.

It's undoubtedly a glitch, but in one run I finished both their romances with the same Hawke (lady, rrrrow,) and in the ending it actually played both "everyone left except 'x' " lines at the same time.

When you finish the game with a romance with Isabela she stays with you, she isn't just a "fling" >.>. She tells you she's falling in love again even though she doesn't want to.

You can bed both.  I had a romance with Isabella, but was able to bed Merril when she left with tome.  At the end Merril asks what this means and I chose that it was just a one time thing, or however it's worded.

I don't think that really would've been awkward. From the conversations they had, it seemed that Isabella and Merrill were quite fond of each other, I could definitely see them having a 3-way relationship with Hawke. I do agree that was likely some kind of bug rather than the intended result, but if it was the intended result it would've seemed pretty appropriate to me.

You can.
I first tried to romance Isabela, and she came to my place and there was the romance scene. Then I said something to Merrill, and that triggered her scene a bit later too, then she moved in and stayed there until the end of the game.

I constantly tried to 'switch back" to Isabela, who was still very friendly, but not "my romance", and it never seemed to work... but at the end of the game, when Varric explain that they all went their separate ways, he adds "well, except Isabela of course, she stayed with Hawke" (or something like that).
