I've been quite happily playing the Ultimate Edition of Dragon Age Origins until now.

Now when I start the game by pressing the icon and selecting 'play' I have the normal sepia Dragon Age Origins screen.  I am logged in to the server (I have the notice in the bottom left hand corner saying 'logged in' and my email address below that).

When I click on 'Resume Game' a notification box appears saying I can only play the premium content if I am logged in.  Clicking on 'Load Game' results in the same notifaction box.

I have restarted the PC, rebooted the router and at this screen I have logged out and back in again several times.

What do I do to get the game to work please?

I'm encountering a similar problem, none of the DLC will authorize even though I'm logged in. The daupdatersvc is running but no go.
Try logging out and playing that way.

I have the same problem. Are you using steam too?

Same here, have steam running in background but not for DA.
Tried restarting computer, waiting for servers to log in.. etc.
At least I know it's not just me at least.

Never mind, It works again.
Too bad we have to log in every time just to activate the DLCs.

Not working for me either. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to keep restarting the game because of the memory leak.

hi everyone...

a germon non-steam-user just having same problem. but i guess it is a general sererproblem due to the fact that this threat has 6 people in it after beeing open for just 35mins ... guess and hope, it'll be fixed soon.

I am having this same issue and a non-steam user. I had issues yesterday and then it worked and I was able to play but then it appeared again today and I am unable to start up my games despite being logged in and restarting several times.

I'm having the same issue too and I'm not using steam version (don't even know what it is!). I just get a box listing all the DLCs available and that's it. Really annoying.

Got the same problem, and Im not a steam user.

I managed to get in (the game said that the servers weren't available, and let me load my saved game).

As long as it doesn't crash, I'm good.

Mine (non-Steam also) crashed a little while ago and now I'm having the same authorization issue. I can't even play logged out, which is incredibly frustrating. I guess it's good to know it's not just me. But I'd prefer if it wasn't any of us.

I also have exactly the same problem (Ultimate edition Steam version). I was playing happily last night, but I load up this morning and apparently I'm not allowed to use my own DLC.

Everything is listed as "Unauthorised", ironically I can play if I log out of my account, but I don't want to do that as it might then screw up my save games. With so many people having the same issue at the same time, perhaps this could be something wrong with the server.
