Only for content delivery, you can move the DLC to the data folder and use a mod to get rid of live completely. Anyway the fix in this thread has just worked for me, you'll need good old Wordpad. social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/416923/5

Well, except all the gear is gone and some of the character's are naked. =/

DA:O does still not working for me. ME, ME2 and DA2 works. But there are some connection problems for ME2.

Are you sure you got all the entries? mine all worked properly.

I did change "requiresauthorization=1" to "requiresauthorization=0" but I have to get new gear for both Alistair and my char. He had calian's armor set while I have the warden set, even their weapons are gone as well.

That's an obvious oversight with the fix, or just using the non steam pc version and going logged out...

With thhe DLC some, but strangely not all DLC items will disapear, as for some reason the game will not recognise you earning them logged out.

So the only thing to do is go back to an earlier save where you did not have those items and earn them again.
Or just make a fresh game until EA resolves this issue and you can load up logged in with your old saves and no quick fix.

Changing "requiresauthorization=1" to "requiresauthorization=0" simply disables the DLC. It makes the game no longer check for it, thus allowing you to load saves. But none of that content will show up in your game anymore.

This is useful for folks who have DLC installed but have saves that don't use any of it. Not so much for those 96+ hours in decked out with DLC armor and items.

I'm having the same issue. Steam version as well. they need to fix this problem cause I can't get my fix of DA.

Hey guys, I read through the thread because I do have this problem as well. (DERP SERVER)

I tried logging out, and it works for me. Try logging out. Maybe you won't get that stupid message.
