I hope so. Would be nice to see the ME team take a page from the Dragon Age writers on this one.
I agree.

Me too, it would really be a nice addition. DA2 handled it very well.

Let's note for a second here that DA2 is fantasy. Complaining that DA2's LI's are bisexual is unrealistic is about as smart as complaining that Mass Effect has starships.
I think what they are talking about is the switch Anders makes from apparently straight character to a bisexual one. switch that I honestly beileve was handled very sloppily...but then again, I find his entire character development and retconed deaths of him and few other characters - sloppy.
Technicaly ...and this pains me to say it, but since Ash/Kaidan are fictional characters they CAN be expanded in a ways that real people cannot be. However, it would still require a fair bit of extra writing and work to implement...and bear in mind, Ash is only alive in some of the games, so to make her a bisexual option means that people who imported games with her dead in them and might want s/s relationship - either need to replay the game in its entirety, or hope that the intro comic will give enough choices to replicate their specific game (which I doubt it will - I'm guessing you'll get to make some of the major choices from both games - Rachni/collector base/wrex/ geth/VS but none of the minor choices - which COULD possibly be detrimental as bioware has been mentioning something about even minor choices from ME1 and ME2 mattering) basicaly it might possibly be too much work to add a new romantic subplot for her. I'd rather they concentrate on her and other squadmates general character development, personaly, especialy if it comes down to - Ashley/Kaidan bi vs. returning ME2 squadmates as something more then cameos. and remember, there are also existing romances that could use some developing, from both games.

Wait... when did Mass Effect stop becoming fantasy?
The reason DA2 is brought up is because they are games from the same developer where one has gone down a route many would like to see continue.
Plus I dont want to see Properity and Ash suffer a break up

@ Captain Crash - that would be why I was wondering about how they will handle modded imports and general character development. I suppose you might just end up with Mark Meer's voice for certain dialogue options ala modded ME2 romances? hmm
I suppose if I have to suffer with subtitles I could live with it. But, the femShep voiced responses at the end of LotSB - if your femShep romanced one of the female LIs - give me a tiny bit of hope the same will happen for femShep/Ashley modders.

They are definitely all kinds of crazy about each other.Captain Crash wrote...

This. Their already is unique dialogue between femshep and Ash in both ME1 and 2. So far its only accesable via mods.
If they were to be a new romance between them thats how Bioware would start it out as. Something new for ME3. I doubt they will go down this road if im honest, but it would be nice if they did. If not Im sure the mods will come out again.

I wasn't aware of any extra dialogue in ME2, unless you mean lines they recorded for femshep, speaking about female LI's talking about them to Liara on a normandy?
they could probably sneak a few lines here and there, hopefully file transfers will work, period.

I thought Ash romance dialog was from femshep only? in ME1 anyways? as far as I know, they just recorded couple of extra lines that you can access with mods but its the same dialog as the Manshep.

Yes. At the end of LotSB, when Liara asks what Shepard is fighting for. This is a link to the one for femShep/Tali. There are also ones for femShep/Miranda and femShep/Jack.
It would be nice to at least get something like this for femShep/Ashley in ME3.

Theres no reason Bioware will stop doing it now anyway, even if it is completionist dialogue.

Would I get in trouble if I said I'm OK with bisexual female LIs but only straight male LIs
