I didn't see this anywhere so I figured I would ask here.
Does anyone know if its possible to use an Xbox 360 controller on the PC version of the game?
The reason being I'd prefer to use a 360 controller , but the game would look a lot nicer on my PC.

The PC version of DA:O does not support console controllers.

i am not to sure that it is possible, because the PC version has a separate interface optimized for PC and not intended for a 360 controller.
You may be able to get away with it but you may need a keyboard/mouse also.

You can use a Console controller with any game..using 3rd party programs..I use Pinnacle Game Profiler...360 controller then works on any game.
However I think using a controller with this game on PC is stupid...use mouse/KB.

Thanks for the replies, think I might just have to hope I enjoy the keyboard/mouse scheme.

The UI is different for PC, so the controller won't work.

Hopefully and probably you'll be able to remap the keyboard controls to your liking if you don't like the default, due to the nature of the game being a take on classical stategy rpgs a keyboard will make a lot more sense to use on the PC. I'm not sure I can wrap my head around how it's going to work on the console, I imagine they must have made a user bar that can be hovered with the controller, or not... I need to check out vids..
edit: Oh I see you have action wheels you can select. Nifty

You can, technically, but it will not be good, given the game's reliance on the mouse and the lack of the controller-friendly console interface.

I play PC so I don't have to use a controller. >_>
