Specifically, the import ones will likely be on a case by case basis. It all depends on where this issue is, be it the conversation pulling data improperly, or the flags not being set right in the first place.
That said, if you want to be 100% sure it will be accurate, start a new game.
As for the other changes, the high majority of them will work on the fly. Some, unfortunately, are already baked in to your saves and will require a fresh playthrough. Sorry
I'm sorry, too... there are a lot of grating and/or unrewarding areas of the game I don't want to go through again. Might mean the end of my Dragon Age experience.

I checked it on Steam by going to the Product updates page for Dragon Age 2, and the only patch listed there was patch 1.01.JediMB wrote...
Out where? On Steam?
I wonder when the patch will be available...

Still 1.01, don't bother checking the patch page right now.
Other than that: bad jokes on patch availability should
trigger a temp ban.

50 years ago today 1st man went up in space..Wonder what Yuri would have said say if he couldn't read his flight manual until the rocket blasted off ...
I presume this patch will bork most of the mods I am running.....

And Yuri would've responded: "что?"

Some people really forget that there's a little "report" button above each post and that they risk getting their account banned. And, if EA-servers have a hick-up again, even lose access to their games.
Luckily I'm not the kind of person who would do something like that. But it crosses my mind everytime someone is doing something to deliberately ****** other people off. <_<

It's been common knowledge that the auto-attack was accidentally left out of the consoles when the game went off to production... And this first super-patch will fix that by adding in game script that was erroneously lost.
My question is: Will this patch also fix the horribly notorious low-res denizens of Kirkwall so that they are generated to... be normal looking? Even the nonspeaking NPCs in Origins were generated using the same models as the character creator uses... So I was rather shocked to see these "dead body people" walking around Kirkwall. (I call them that because I recall some dead bodies in Origins having low-res textures like that)

Unlikely. The low-res NPCs are strictly "filler" NPCs, not unlike the wheels of cheese you see in Origins; their purpose is to make the city more "alive", nothing more.
