Is there also a fix for the stutter issues when you don't press the RMB?

I...

There were other Chantry Board quests than Duty?

Huh.

I think these happen instead of the underground railroad quests if you turn in the mages in Act 1.

Sounds nice.

If the complete fix list includes the savegame import fixes (or if the last thing on the current list includes this), I'll be happy. That's the main reason why I stopped in Act I before spending too much time with my "canon" playthrough. I simply don't want to have to replay too much of it to correct things.

So, looking forward to (hopefully) next week!

I am loving that people are asking if bugs were addressed when it is very clearly written in Rob's OP. LOL

Thanks for the update. Hopefully it will be out by the time I get back home from my business trip, next week.

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that the slow-mo bug is getting fixed! Also hoping that the last point was referring to the import bugs we're been experiencing.

Looking forward to more updates! Keep it up!

For the Isabela and Sebastian friendship bug, any idea if the patch will change our character speeds to their normal values or will it stay slow and just not get any worse?

Is the slow motion bug being fixed? It's happening to me and dear lord it is annoying!! I am going to stop playing and wait for the patch.

Edit: some people are thanking for the slow motion fix, but where does he say it will be fixed? Does it have something to do with the "talents being properly removed and reapplied" part?

Hope to see this soon, I've left a couple games hanging pre Act III because of certain bugs, and not tried other builds due to various bugs with talents. Thanks for keeping us up to date.

The 1.02 Patch on PC/Mac (1.01 Title Update on X360/PS3) is still in the final certification process with EA, Microsoft, and Sony but is not expected to come out this weekend. Thank you for your continued patience and we look forward to getting this in your hands soon.

The patch includes fixes for over 100 issues. We’ll discuss some of the platform-specific issues in greater detail next week and we’ll release the formal patch notes once the updates are actually ready to download and install but here’s a high level view of some of the core gameplay fixes that everyone will see regardless of platform:

- The effects of various follower talents and item properties are now being properly removed and re-applied when loading and saving.
- Party members who are resurrected during a fight now rejoin combat properly.
- Hawke no longer gains random spells or talents after using the Maker's Sigh potion, then saving and reloading.
- The “Duty” plot will now appear on the Chanter’s Board even if the player accepted all of the board’s quests before installing the Exiled Prince premium content.
- In the “Finders Keepers” plot, if the player leaves Woodrow’s Warehouse before finding the crate, it is now possible to return to the warehouse to complete the quest.
- Merril no longer refers to the aftermath of “A New Path” before the plot has been completed.
- Aveline’s final armor upgrade is now available during the “Favor and Fault” plot.
- Varric is no longer confused about which character Hawke has been romancing.
- Various other gameplay and story-scripting issues no longer appear.

We’ll delve into some of the platform-specific details early next week. In the meantime, a special shout out and thanks to our mighty beta test group who’ve been a big help in confirming how these fixes will behave in the wild.

So when you say that you'll dicuss details next week, does that mean what I think it means? ie. no patch next week either?

This is the cause of the Slomo bug, Isabella's friendship bonus is getting taken off from stats permanmently each time you reload from certain area saves.  This means you build up negative speed due to having her in the party, the same also happens with Sebastion's damage reduction, making you very fragile to damage.

Err, you're reading way too much into it.

I see only game play issues listed there. Will the patch also fix the problems for people who still are unable to even launch and play the game? Tech support is still linking to the forums with no solution yet apparent.

Thank you for the update.  One has to wonder, though, if this "mighty" group is the same who tested the game itself before launch?

The aforementioned beta test-group was a small pocket of community members that I pulled out of the matrix talked to about helping us out by pre-screening the patch. They were picked mostly due to community involvement and overall helpfulness/cooperation with other forum members.

On that note, as many people have noticed, I had to friend all of these people for this task so if you requested to be my friend and I turned you down (:crying:), its nothing personal!

Cool.  And good thing you didn't captialize the "m" in "matrix"... you'd owe Warner Bros. some money....  ;)
