And i own ME2 on the 360 with all of the DLC's and i can't understand your point. My point was to correct that you do get ME2 on the PC even if you own DA2 on the 360.

And i own ME2 on the 360 with all of the DLC's and i can't understand your point. My point was to correct that you do get ME2 on the PC even if you own DA2 on the 360.

  Actually I put it into the context that I belive it was meant to be in. Since I made sure to quote everything that lead up to it I did you no disservice. You are saying that everyone has the ability to download the ME2 pc version, but that wasn't the problem. When someone said it was only for PC users he was right in the sense it is only for people able/willing to play it on PC. He didn't mean that only people that bought it DA2 on PC could download the free copy of ME2.
   I am a loyal Bioware fan, but that doesn't mean I am blind to their smoke screen. They are trying to act like they are doing us a favor by allowing us to download ME2 on PC, but that only really helps people that haven't bought it yet. They are trying to build hype for ME3 with this promotion by hooking new people into the Mass Effect series. They are not trying to compensate those of us that bought DA2 on day of release, and have had to wait for the patch.

Firstly- it is a PC version. Secondly, I hate Mass Effect. Thirdly, it wasn't presented as a doggy-bone for our frustrations. It was a marketing strategy bragging about sales of DA:2 and trying to lure more buyers to buying a LEMON.

But I agree if we got the SECOND HALF of this minor-game FOR FREE? How about we send in the faulty disc and get the Ultimate edition?

What about for those players who are still in their playthrough?  Say the above for example, I've only just finished Aveline's quest "Favour and Fault" and didn't get the final armour upgrade.  When the patch is released, will this then become available in that same playthrough even though the quest is complete?

It's a shame that most of the fixes will only affect future playthroughs as most of those who got the game on release (the loyal ones! ) will have finished/nearly finished their playthrough.  It's a bit like hindsight.  Not much use now.

I only intend to play the game through once (atm) and wouldn't pick the game up for a second playthrough for another year or so at least.  I have played for 70+hours though! (I don't understand how I've managed to spend so much longer than everyone else doing everything when some people report the game as having taken them 30 odd hours.  I like to take my time in games, but that's some difference!)

It should be their around the 10th or april - 20th of april since it passed threw microsoft and i really hope if the patch could let you play on your character even if you finished the campaign because it's not fun that you finished the campaign and you can't do anything else with your character who is probably upgraded to deal a lot of damage.

Meh, i couldn't care if the patch took another month to pass through certification. I'm enjoying The Last Remnant way too much to put it aside for this. And i bet not every problem is sorted.

Only way i can see myself playing this within the next couple of months (i want to get Torchlight, and i've got Brink on order), is if some decent DLC was to be released. And i doubt that more than the ability of this patch.

I lost motivation to finish my game until th epatch. the Merril bugs among others were just depressing. good to know they are getting fixed soon as I found the bugs the thing I liked least about DA2. I am excited about finally finishing the game. hopefully this comes out this week.

Well if you sided with the Mages you'd have to leave kirkwall and explore else weres like the free marches and maybe even take a trip to a new un explored area in the dragon age 2 area.

*spoiler*If you sided with the templars you remain in kirkwall and carry out orders and you can also explore the un explored areas in the dragon age 2 area.
last thing when sided with mages their is a way to redeem yourself to gain entree back into kirkwall like kirkwall is yet again under seage from the dark spawn and call upon the champion of kirkwall for help, the quest could be named Rescue or Redempton, either way i'd love to explore in th dragon age 2 area roaming around.

While I share the frustration that a lot of people have that this patch is taking so long, IIRC there was mention that the delay is in waiting for the console companies to approve the patch? So I understand that it's sort of out of your guy's hands now. I really enjoyed DA2 even with the bugs, and I'm looking forward to doing a "better" playthrough once the patch is finally released. Thanks for keeping us updated, at the very least.

There was a group of people who tested the patch to make sure that it actually worked. I assume Mr. Bartel's thanks is directed at them.

Yep, I'd say he's not sarcastically thanking all of us...

As for "platform-specific", there are definitely talents that don't work on the console but do on the PC. The other big thing that I thought occurred on all platforms but isn't mentioned here is the shield defense bug...

^ Are you talking about how you can get a ridiculous armor rating by continuing to switch shields on Hawke or Aveline? I thought that was 360 specific.

Regardless I encountered that same shield armor bug and it has forced me to stop including Aveline in my squad which is a bummer. Hope the patch fixes that.

I have just completed the game for the second time and the Epic achievement didnt unlock. Quite annoying as it is the only achievement I have left to do. Can someone confirm whether this is going to be fixed in the new patch?

Well I got that one on my first play due was an imported game, no clue if its borked if you dont import a game.
