OK, so I've played through 2 Normal Warriors, on a Hard Rogue. I have played through Act 1 on Nightmare before but got bored.

I was just wondering if anyone could help me create a build like the Mage in the demo (Varric's over-exaggerated story) that could potentially dominate Nightmare... Also is there anyway I could use Staff of Parthalan later in the game with different runes (Ect...). I am obsessed by creating the 'perfect Hawke''

check the pinned topic "most rated class + companion guides" (or something to that effect)

there are at least 4 mage guides in there, mix and match to personal taste
