I'm not certain if this has been posted before and would rather not take the time to go looking for it as it likely won't be my question(s) specifically.
This goes out to the development team for Mass Effect 3.
I'd just like to know if steps are being taken so another "Conrad Verner" won't be happening. My particular concern is as follows.
Note the Shadow Broker DLC and its continuation of Liara's romance subplot. There was no check for disabling other romance flags like there were with active team mates. Now, this could be entirely intentional. Applause if you're making a "two timing" subplot beyond simply getting caught cheating. I'd like an assurance that my game won't crash if I romanced two individiuals via the DLC. I have my doubts that the DLC will grant more than a sentence or NPC position in Mass Effect 3, but will remain optimistic. (Two subplot romance flags instead of one and a previous game's romance flag.)
What I'm trying to say is if this happens:
Mass Effect 1; Romanced Liara
Mass Effect 2; Romanced (ANYONE)
Mass Effect 2 (Shadow Broker DLC); Continued romance with Liara
That the game won't freeze, etc.
I apologize if this is convoluted, the message I'm trying to convey is there, hopefully it is discernable. If what I am asking is not clear, please state so and I will attempt to clarify.
