What part of "set a trap" didn't you understand?

grunt is stronger thant wrex

If you are referring to Grunt's perfect genes, then you are putting too much store in genetics. Shepard covered this with both Miranda and Grunt in ME2.

If you are talking about pure skill...then you best stop. Grunt never had the skill that Wrex does. Ask anyone around. Maybe some day, but not now...

tali is just as trained as anyone else

She was trained by the quarians. She has to be able to deal with suit ruptures and the likes. On top of that, she wasn't really a soldier when Shepard first met her. She was more of a spy for the SB. She is a damned good fighter, and would probably go down with a fight, but she's ultimately an engineer and tech expert.

mordin is he really 50?, his stg are still just as sharp and hes an expert in one on one combat, especially organics

He's a scientist, and a great STG agent. He's not weak, but I doubt that he could take on an N7 agent with the experience of Leng. It's like betting between Mordin and Zaeed.

samara would shred him like a puppy fighting a lawn mower

Maybe. Maybe not. I did say that it would be a good fight.

thane could take down shepard if it came to it

I already said this.

zaeed is just likee shepard

Yeah, except that he's old. Zaeed was already preparing for retirement in ME2. If he had Jessie, I doubt Leng could take him.

garrus would maul him

Once again, it would be a good fight.

kasumi would be hard to  kill , she can stealth so if she starts lossing shell just escape, her hand to hand skills are great

Kasumi isn't a soldier. She's a thief/assassin. In a hand to hand with Leng, she might be able to stun him. Her best bet, though (and we both agree) is her ability to infiltrate and exit. She'd make a break for it.

Kai Leng vs Shepard in 1 on 1 hand to hand combat would be badass.

Which is why something like this is likely.
It seems that Bioware feel that we need another Saren like  antagonist.
Lets see if they manage to pull it off or if it all feels contrived like the Termireaper.

I honestly don't see Kai Leng being able to take on anyone on Shepard's squad. He could barely handle Anderson and he's a retired soldier. Everyone on Shepard's squad are experts in various fields and have taken on Reaper foot-soldiers, Geth, Klixen, Krogan battlemasters, Thresher Maws, and Collectors. Are you telling me that Kai Leng would be able to handle any of that? Ha!

Once he's had Reaper implants installed ala Saren? (Lets face it, if there's an antagonist other then the Reapers themselves then this is likely).  Might not even be Kai Leng, could be TIM, but I have a strong suspicion that we'll see something like that.

The only time I remember Kai and Anderson actually fighting was when Anderson tazzed him in the back, and when he shot Kai in the legs after Kai had just fought the Reaper controlled Grayson. Neither of those I would consider a fair fight.

Also, Kai's level of stealth and assasination is almost on par with Thanes. He could take most of the squad in a one on one fight.

I wonder if since Anderson will probably be part of the crew, he will ask for your help to hunt down Leng, ala Smara/Mornith.

I know who I will choose, Kai Leng and kill the traitor Anderson. Treason is still a capital offence.

I'll scrap his ass along with countless other self-styled badasses who thought they were up to the challenge.

Kai Leng will be the one sent to kill Shepard...

and Kai Leng will be killed by Shepard.

Seriously... Does Timmay not see the trail of bodies behind Shepard? People take up arms against Shepard, those people die violently.

Heck, even the Collectors did not escape Shepard's wrath, and they actually succeeded in killing Shep.

Seeing that Cerberus is considered a rogue entity by both the Alliance and the Citadel... it's not treason.  Those who operate outside the law forfeit its protection.

Oh and one more add... Ashley did completed N7 training as well (trained under same instructor as Shepard) but because of her family name she was denied to fully graduate as N7.

That's not how the N program works in the Mass Effect universe.

Shepard and Ashley went to the same place on different training mission sets: this is natural in the military.

Considering the nature of training they commiserated over (getting kicked in the ass for "goldbricking" by the same Drill Sergeant Nasty), I imagine it was basic that they were talking about.

Ah yes, Kai Leng
*snap crunch scream*
claim is dismissed

Seriously though, Shepherd has augmented strength, nearly unbreakable bones and enhanced health/healing ability.

Kai Leng is a good fighter, but martial arts aren't worth diddly when your opponent's bones won't snap.

Also, he has a specific weakness against biotics, all they have to do is wave their hand and he's down.

Then there's the gun thing, as Anderson demonstrated, all you have to do is shoot him a couple of times and he's your personal punching bag.

So, I would guess he's good up close, but ranged combat, not very skilled.

And as for Shepherd's teammates, he's dealing with a collection of the most deadly warriors in the galaxy, not cannon fodder troops.

Grunt, Legion, Thane and Samara would be the ones who are certain to defeat him.
Garrus is mean enough and deadly in close quarters to take him down, weapons or not, Mordin would just hit him with a flame blast, Tali would deploy a drone and probably stab him after shooting him (hey that knife has to do something!), the others are biotics, so no luck there, Kasumi would cloak and frag him from behind and so on.

And if ever I get my hands on him, well, when I've had my fun with the Renegade beatings, I'll be sure to make a special stop at Omega and hand him alive to her, along with a note reminding her how exactly Liselle died.

That is my major gripe with him by the way, he killed a defenceless Asari simply because she was having a relationship with a human.

I really hope he's not a squadmate, given my animosity towards what he represents (a racist and bigot of the worst kind), I wouldn't want him on my crew.

Heck, he probably wouldn't last even five seconds with all the aliens on board anyway, when he annoys one and they dogpile him.

You're putting Grunt, Legion, and Thane's skill levels above Garrus? Are you insane? I can understand Samara, but Legion? Grunt?  I am NOT saying that Legion and Grunt aren't skilled. I'm not saying that at all! However, Legion is a synthetic. While his reactions may be faster than an organics, and his ability to calculate variables may prove strong, his lack of understanding of organics (the reason he went in search of Shepard) place him below Garrus easily. And Grunt? Grunt's good, but he doesn't have the experience in control that Garrus, Samara, and the rest of the squad have. He's Shepard's cannon ball. He just kills things because he doesn't know what else to do.

I just want to see Kai Leng and Thane get in an unarmed fight. It would be the best moment in media history ever.

You do. Anderson gave intel on Cerberus which listed Cerberus locations but which also listed Cerberus operatives within the Alliance. This gave the turians the excuse to arrest Alliance officers.

That makes him a traitor how? Cerberus is a terrorist organization. What you really mean is that Anderson was cleaning house on corruption in the Alliance! Image IPB

No, see, Anderson was wrong to do that. Cerberus just want what's best for humanity and-- -_-

How so? I only remember him telling Udina to shove it and walked. That being from Retribution and only an off hand background comment.

He gave sensitive Alliance intel to the turians, greatly damaging relationis and weakening our position in the galaxy. He is a traitor, plain and simple. He is also a moron for going after Cerberus when they are the only ones trying to save the galaxy from the Reapers.

I already had a bromance going with Anderson - now I'm gonna make sure I get us both matching T-Shirts with the slogan "Guns don't kill Cerberus - I do".  I haven't read any of the books yet, good to know he's still doing what's right.

And this Kai Leng person - sounds mildly interesting.  If I have to kill the stooge before getting my hands on TiM - bonus.
