Cookie! Did they send you the code Via e-mail, or in your chat or did it just show up as points at the EA site? Also - I spoke with someone at EA also and they were unable to give me any sort of timeframe. sigh.
It was in that same chat that I posted earlier. In the the few lines I didn't post.
How did you have to use the code? because they dinna tell me how to use mine?

go to the ea store and add a game to your basket, when you check out, there should be a space for you to add your code
So you can't use it towards dlc?

I was a bit curious abut this myself.
I didn't realize until after I was out of the chat with the "Service" rep who helped me that I don't know anything about the coupon...when it expires, what exactly it can be used for. etc.
I was going to wait until the servers came back up and contact Support again to ask them.
I'll buy $20 worth of Bioware points if the coupon ends up making them free, but I really don't want to be using the EA store to buy DA2 (I don't have it yet) and then spend what I've "saved" to buy all the DLC I missed not buying the Signature Edition.

Dude, calm down. It was a joke. Unless I am missing your sarcasm. In that case, hey, let's go have a drink together. If anything, I was attempting to put a little perspetive forward for all of those who were crying "I PAID FOR THIS GAME IT'S SO UNFAIR WAH WAH WAH".PeterSamuelGreen wrote...
FuzzyBee,
You're absolutely right. Tsunamis & meltdowns in Japan are far worse than being prohibited from playing a lawfully purchased video game on my own free time. I couldn't agree more. And, as you'll see by tuning into any of the crybaby liberals bemoaning that fact in the newsmedia, the rest of the world agrees with you too. That's why I posted my complaint in one of many hundreds of threads on a little known forum for a little known company. And that's why I'm just asking this specific company to fix it's problem...not The Red Cross or any number of benevolent charity organizations...not my state or federal government...nor do I plan on calling the local news affiliate to decry the injustice of it all. I am asking a privately owned company to repair a glitch begotten of their own ineptitude. If that's a disproportionate response, then what's proportional?...Sending Bioware/EA game engineers free tickets to Disneyworld since they were "understanding" on the phone?
Think about it, dude.

I see on the side of the ea store where you can buy 1600 bioware points. question solved. & points purchased. Now to see if I actually get them
You can buy points, spend them, download and install the DLC, but you won't be able to play the DLC until it becomes authorized.

Funny. I just happen to be starting a fire in the fireplace right now. On my way to BioWare! I hope this poker doesn't cool off before I get there. A cool poker just doesn't have the same impact.TheRunemage wrote...

Whether it was a joke or not, it's too soon. Living in Japan is still hard for the hundreds of thousand of people still affected, and there was another mag 7 quake on Thursday evening. People here are worried about their loved ones and their livelyhoods. Even thousands of kilometers from the plant (like where I am) peoplea re worried about radiation from the plants. DAO is what I do when I don't want to think about the disaster.
Your statement might have been in jest, but it still is too soon.
