EA support told me to reinstall the game they seem to think the servers are back up. So now have to redownload the deluxe edition and see....
I would wait. Just my opinion, but unless you've had other problems or have already uninstalled it, there should be NO reason to reinstall the game because their server went down.

So does anyone think EA/Bioware has even bothered to look at our now 21 pages of discussion about this issue?
Nope. Maybe when hell freezes over.

No. No one from EA/Bioware has responded in this particular forum in months. And even if they did, the occasional comment about a lawsuits will put them off, anyway.
My suggestion... go to sites like IGN, Joystiq, Ars Technica, and others... any of the bigger sites that raved about DAO when it was released two years ago... and tell them what's going on with the game.
A premeire game like this, and a single-player game to boot, being crippled by a server issue? That sounds like news.
A further suggestion... when contacting these sites, they usually have a "tips" link, or something like that. Posting on their forums is probably not enough. Also, it goes without saying, that using reasonable and polite language (and decent grammar) will help.

I really have to strongly agree. I know very little about Computers, but I do know that the Tech advice and "workarounds" being given out be Tech support are simply too extreme to try at this point.

The 1st rep. I spoke to this time re-added all my DLC to my account, without success!
The 2nd went through every fix suggested here (Reinstalling the CD keys, DAUServiceDiagnostic_beta.exe, addins.xml) again no success!
But he has added a log fragement showing errors from the DADM server showing both Points and a missing xml file errors, so maybe the ball will start rolling soon (3 days max to look at the ticket)

Yes. I sent one of these "tips" to Kotaku besides the "news" about it that I posted on Slashdot.

Arrival was pretty meh. Just played it last night, while waiting for, you guessed it, Bioware to fix their damn servers.

They were asking if the servers were still down.

I've PM'ed a couple of Bioware folks who appear to have been posting online today in other areas/unrelated topics. I have no special relationship with anyone, but hopefully someone will take a look here and realize it's good business to (finally) get in front of this issue.
Wow, so they pretty much left the support forum for the users to help each other? Not even a peek on the hot topics. Sure wish they'll take a look now.
