Everyone: Head over to post at http://social.biowar...36701/1#7037044

The finally released official post on the matter. And politely (please mind your manners) let them know how upset and concerned you are about this whole issue. And to please give priority to the matter.

I would also ask that you encourage them, once this issue is resolved, to take steps to FIX (not remove) the DRM for Dragon Age: Origins downloadable content, and therefore remove any chance this error (and all the other errors reported on this site for the last year) from happening again.

Well I reinstalled and now I cannot see any DLC at all. None at all. Is this what some others are seeing or is it a new issue for me?

No that is the real issue. I also re-installed (because I was told to do so in EA support chat to fix my problem of not being able to see my remaining bioware points), and haven't been able to see anything in the DLC menu since (except my disc-installation of Awakening).

It's a server side error, so yes, this is what everyone is experiencing too.

I guess we don't need to be here since someone picked up RI's unpaid, unofficial weekend job of informing us of EA mistakes.

For those of you who came here looking for an update. Head over to http://social.biowar...36701/1#7037044

A few hours they started an official thread on the matter. Not that there has been a lot of advance.

But this thread is so much more fun!  I have deleted all of my characters and am going to start new ones.  I will get them all to Lothering and this better be resolved by the time I get there, dammit!

I just cleared the Circle tower. Now I need some DLCs before I want to continue. :(

I'm also downloading a crap tonne of mods just because.  I figure it they don't work or I end up reinstalling because of them, eh, what's it really matter at this point.  The Cullen romance mod was awesome!

I have bad experience with mods that add too much new content from when I played BG last time, I guess a romance mod is not too much though :)
Personally I run mostly with tweaks and appearance mods

i think you will find removal is far more preferable than yet another fix.

Well this is annoying. I reinstalled DA:O last night and wen tin expecting to play and bam, ran into this issue. Can't see ANY of my DLC in the menu. Lame.

Honestly, every time I want to play DA:O again I have to do some troubleshooting to get the DLC working and authorized like it should be. Usually it involves hunting the FAQs on these forums and delving into some obscure XML file in MyDocs. This right here is the exact reason we hate DRM so much. I'm off to go download some of my DRM-free games over on Good Old Games.

Hope this issue is resolved soon.

That's what I'm going with mostly.  I don't use any of the mods that get me better gear earlier or anything but everything looks so pretty now!  I couldn't pass up the Cullen kiss though.  It was too cute.

Aaaw, btw had a good night sleep. 17h, thank you for sending me to bed Cookie =P

Oh, Bioware and EA Tier-3 contacted me, apparently they are responding to threats. And they are now "Aware of the problem and they are working on it." And they, this time, seems to mean that.

No, I'm not gonna give you what I said to them. But i can tell you this: Even though we are known for it, I did not use any of the famous Swedish diplomacy.

Swedish diplomacy ?

Well they surely are aware of the problem by now, I highly doubt they are working on it though.
