Try it again. They may have had to take the server(s) that run this subset of features down in order to repair the problem. All of my DLC is back now..so I logged in, tried a few to verify they actually worked, then logged out. I won't log in again unless they create a patch to change the DRM schema...

Ahh, my DLC's are showing up now, they didn't earlier this evening.  Thanks for the heads up.

I got my DLC working now. It seems the Steam version of the game uses 2
CD keys. One for the game, one for the DLC. My registry had the game CD
key. So just for the heck of it, I changed it to the DLC CD key. For
whatever reason, this has finally fixed my DLC. I just started a new
game with Witch Hunt, and it seems fine thus far. No idea why this
worked, but it might be worth noting if anyone else has problems with
the Steam "Ultimate Edition" version of the game. Try swapping your CD keys in the registry.

Hallelujah. Took long enough. All content now authorised and have logged out. Lesson learned. Thanks to RaenImrahl, Redundant Cookie and everyone else for the updates and info. Hopefully EA will look at your posts as a model for how they should keep those who pay for their games updated in the future. Not that they will of course.....

I think not. This happens alot on Battlefield Bad Company 2. Some times a few times a day.
EA also close their servers very soon on console. I remember a game that had the multiplayer closed not even a year after his release. EA has the right to share the info they have on you with other companies if those companies  want to sell you stuff as you agreed when you accept EA online privacy/term of service contract with one of their games.
Got to love modern video game industry

To those of you with unresolved issues, I have created a group called "Clients with Unresolved DLC Issues - Dragon Age: Origins". The idea is to see if we have critical mass for escalating a response from EA and/or Bioware. If you have unresolved DLC issues with Dragon Age: Origins and want to be counted, consider joining this group. Just search for it in the groups tab.

I am new to forum groups so the helpful voice of experience is a welcome sound. Thanks and looking forward to positive change.
