To the guy on the first page saying she won't look like that in game (sorry I'm on my iPad and can't quote for some strange reason) it doesn't look like concept art, but rather a render. I dont have the magazine, but from looking at the scans, it looks 3d. Now the question is - is it in the unreal engine, or is it Maya/max/zbrush?

It's an early version, a tech demo, if you will. I don't think Ashley will appear that way in-game, either.

Loved her look before, love the new look too. I think she looks great either way.

And the chest isn't Miranda chest. It's Femshep chest. The same update she (and Liara) got in ME2. They're not really "bigger" just "repositioned."

In my mind, based on his letter, Kaidan broke up with me. He explicitly told me "Hey, I've been seeing other women trying to move on, but maybe, after this is over, we'll see about hooking up again?" To me, that means we are broken up, or at least "on a break."

I hope all the LIs have different, interesting reactions to the situation, not just a generic "pick me" "you jerk" argument.

Liara'a acceptance of Shepard moving on past her in the epilogue "date" in LotSB if she was the ME1 LI gives hope, though...

Indeed. My biggest wonder is whether or not they're going to portray Garrus as having fallen "head over heels," or if you can go back to being just bros again.

Everything in the buildup of that relationship implied that sort of "friends with benefits who also really care about each other," thing. I think that it would be in character if he's sort of torn about whether it'd be better to go back to just being friends, or fight for you.

heh..the way I read it, he saw one woman for drinks and it doesn't seem like it worked out and he thinks that maybe you have moved on but he hasn't, but  him being Kaidan, he still doesn't want to put any pressure on you, hence the maybe.

I suppose it can be read differently.

its similar with Garrus.  on one hand you get this sort of friends with benefits vibe... on other hand and its especialy apparent in his romance scene - looks like he feels a fair bit more then just friendship :/

varied reactions would be quite lovely, especialy if they are done in character (and I think i can see both Kaidan and Garrus just walking away if you refuse to make a choice)

I'm willing to make a choice, I just hope I get a chance to figure out how they feel before I make it. If Garrus isn't sure he's interested in getting serious, or if Kaidan intends to try to make me feel guilty about any of this... well then that'll make the decision easier for me.

I agree that Kaidan probably hasn't moved on, but his letter didn't read as as heartfelt and trusting as Ash's. It almost half felt like he was trying to guilt me, though I'm sure that wasn't his intention. I like to think that he's been kicking himself over the bad phrasing in that letter ever since then. "Why couldn't I have said 'I still love you?' Maybe I should send a follow-up... no no, that will look desperate. Damnit!"

Of course, most of us have the experience of sending a badly phrased email to an ex, so I can't judge him too harshly. Still, I had a pretty strong reaction to it at the time, and I still read that letter pretty negatively, even if I know he probably didn't mean it that way, and probably screwed up because he was overly emotional. (2) The Horizon event is forgiveable but I met Miranda.
(3) I like Ash. I like her old look. I like her new look if that scan is it. But I've always liked her in spite of certain traits that Miranda doesn't have.

So no, I do not regret moving on. One of my Shepards has the personality that he might want to have her back. Might.

Didn't notice that so far only Garrus is returning even though he has a higher death % than Miranda.

In the end someone has to get screwed over for ME3 and I suppose it had to be everyone else but Liara, VS, and Garrus Fans. It's a good thing I'm a VS fan. At least that way I have no reason to be angry unlike the ME2 Fanbase that go looked over except lovable Garrus.

I have to disagree.
I'm looking at the picture of the new Ash right next to a picture of Miranda and it's quite obvious that this outfit (at the moment) is just a reskin of Miranda's.
Their busts are identical.

I don't think it is so much out of character as it reflects her character's growth.  In ME, she had pretty low self-esteem.  She was blacklisted in the military and transfered from one crap post to the next.  Nothing she did was ever good enough.  Given that outlook, she probably thought she wouldn't look good no matter what she did, so she settled for servicable.  Since ME, though, she has been acknowledge as a hero of the Battle of the Citadel, promoted and give a string of important assignments.  Her self-confidence has risen, and she feels "good enough."  Given that, she is willing to put more effort into her hair and makeup to enhance her appearance.

Or I could be reading way too much into her new look; take your pick.

No regrets here. Miranda's 10x cuter and I like the fact that she's not all "nicey nice" if that makes sense. Though Ash was a total jerk in ME2.

Not to mention the whole "Hey look at me I can butcher poetry really well!"

No way the way she treated me on horizon was bull. Tali accept me without a moment of hesitations. Ashley on the other hand basically said i was evil and needed to go away. She can go f herself and die.
