I agree.  Now I just hope that the writer brought in for Ashley does justice to Le'toile's work.  It will be an absolute waste if she isn't the same or better than she was.

As to the comment on the render probably being maya, I certainly hope so.  I hope it's just embellishment and not truly representative of how she looks.  I knew her hair was long and her hair style wouldn't be an issue unless she went spikey or shaved it off like Jack.  Her bust though needs to be more in line with what it used to be.  If it's more like Shepard's in ME2 then fine.  I won't take her if she got Miranda implants or I start getting shots of her **** every five seconds.

Also I'd like to say it wasent one augment I was in need of desperate help from people I trust and she couldn't decide if she was happy or sad I was alive. Screw her I hope I can shoot her treacherous ass in the face in me3.

Of course she did Shepard was dead for 2 years; I know If someone I loved died it would tear me up inside know that part of me would never fully heal. When Shepard died she probably try to first tell herself Shepard wasn't dead maybe tried looking for awhile. Then watching the Alliance and the Council tear apart Shepard's claim about the reapers invasion coming probably pissed her off like no tomorrow. Then finally trying get on with her life after 2 years, until hearing that Shepard maybe alive cause all these emotion flooding down on her like a waterfall. Heck if I saw someone I cared for alive after being dead I would want to be happy them just being alive, but knew it would too good to be true. I think I was either dreaming, in denial, seeing an illusion, a fake, or worse a deal with some kind of devil was made; for Ashley Cerberus was that devil. Even though probably to wanted to join shepard  she couldn't because if she did all her work to restore her family good name would undone or worse branded a traitor to the alliance forever.

As far as I remember, it's not that difficult to go back to Ash as the romance after romancing the others. You just have to break up with your current love interest and, when you go back to your cabin, your former love interest is back in the photo.

I can't remember if you can do this after the SM but, as long as you have a save before heading into the Omega 4 relay, you should be able to put yourself back on track with Ashley.

That said, I like Ashley but I don't think I'll ever play a game where I don't decide for Miranda. Miranda might come wearing a potato sack and Ashley one of Miranda's discarded catsuits recolored blue, I don't care.

I hate to sound judgemental, but I can't help but roll my eyes every time I see someone change their opinion of Ash now that she has a new look.

I never disliked her, but I didn't like her much, either. She was okay, but she didn't really appeal to me, and this new look of hers hasn't changed that. If anything, it annoys me that the ME team felt the need to change her to "Miranda with brown hair".

I made up my mind to cheat on Ashley after the encounter on Horizon, that whole entire conversation just rubbed me the wrong way and from where I was sitting it looked like Ashley had moved on and had already dumped Shepard by then anyway.

I don't regret the decision to finish with Ashley ( as a LI Ashley is dead to me ) but I do fear the reprecussions since there is a rumour that it romancing someone else in ME2 may come back to haunt gamers. I also regret it beacuse in every single playthough of ME2 that I have done with a male Shepard I have always romanced Miranda and Bioware refuses to confirm if she will be a permanent squadmate in ME3 ( they won't even confirm if she is in ME3 although leaving her out will be a stupid ). The whole entire subplot of Cerebus going after Shepard also complicates things, I don't doubt Miranda's loyalty to Shepard but Cerebus knows about Miranda's sister, if Miranda had to chose between Shepard and her sister who would she choose.

As for Ashleys "new found" hotness, I always knew she looked like that with her hair down so that leaked pic doesn't really do much to make me regret my decision. Having said that I could not help but notice the form fitting body suit and the enhanced chest, Bioware are defintly trying to make Ashley come across as more feminine this time around.

I'm so conflicted now. I half-assed romanced Ashley with my Soldier Shepard in ME1 but was kind of put off by her poetry, right-wingery and bible thumping. Then in ME2 her cavalier dismissal of Shepard as a traitor pissed me off so bad that I no longer wanted anything to do with her and I actually edited my save to retroactively kill her on Virmire, then hooked up with Miranda.

Now they made Ashley freakin' HOT in ME3, and I sorta want to ditch the "ice queen with the weird face" and go back to Ash.

I'm gonna have to play through ME1 again to get an Ash save, i lost it on my xbox when my frist one went the way of the Dodo, and i have never bothered to have Ash as my LI on the P.C. And since i saw that image of her in ME3... Dang i wants me some o' that!

i think I will stick with Miranda (but depends on what happens between ME2 and ME3 as well as of course what happens in ME3 with the characters
