Hi.
Apologize my english.
Same problem with dlc, suddenly unauthorized. offline everything was fine, but I copied my saved games and unistall DAO. After re install it same problem: no way to see any downloadble content in the game page. I've contacted bioware support. They suggest to visit the follow page

Followed instructions but never happens. So I don't know what to do. Wait for any server miracle?

I'm talking with a service rep right now and their just giving me the run around telling me to do things that would enable me to play the game without the DLC which I can do fine as is.

Actually, for me..starting the "Dragon Age..." services in windows actually worked!!! yay!!

That was the first thing I tried. It was already started. Neither restarting, nor reinstalling the service had no effect.
I won't advise reinstalling the game either, as you won't be able to reinstall your DLC.
Log out is the only option that really works for me.
Also, when you are logged in, you can notice that you can't see your Bioware Points on the downloadable content page. Even if you don't have any, they should be shown as zero. That means that the game fails to get the correct info about your account, therefore making your DLC unauthorized. When you are logged out, the game checks info about purchased content on your PC instead, therefore it all works after logging out. As I understand there are some versions that don't keep info about purchased content on the PC, therefore making log out solution not to work for some people. Thankfully, I have the DVD version from the first release with Awakening and all of the DLC installed above. So it is more simple for me without such nonsense as a mandatory log in to play the game.

I have the ultimate edition, and I can't access any of the DLC content in DA:O. I am not amused.

This customer is having the same problem, only all of the DLC is missing from the downloads page in the game. It's been more than twenty-four hours since this problem cropped up and it's still present.
I'm beginning to get the sneaky suspicion that Bioware and EA are looking to sunset this title in an effort to force everyone to buy their latest offering.
Guess what.... This fish ain't biting the bait just so you can reel me in again.
Sadly, I must add two more companies to my boycott list.
I know the loss of my pittance in revenue won't cause any harm to your bottom line. But, the 100+ people I steer away from your products will! As a legitimate owner of Mass Effect, Dragon Age Origins, Awakenings and nearly every piece of DLC offered I am highly disappointed in your clear lackof commitment to what you sell. In the current economic climate, it puzzles me how any game developer or publisher would allow their business to fall into such a state of disrepair. Don't even get me started on your draconian DRM schemes that not only punish the pirates you are fighting against, but also alienate your legitimate "Paying" customer base. If this is what we are to expect out of you folks now and in the future, I have two words for you.... SUCK IT!

same problem. running all DLC fine for days now and rebooted last night ,,unauthorized now. unable to start a save without error.   The fix for me was to mod the addins.xml file.  that worked.

I've been having this same issue since last night. I figured it must have been a server problem, and I thought that SURELY they would have it fixed by morning. And here it is now in the afternoon and it's still happening. It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one though. :\\

It's a pretty annoying problem. I'm using the Mac Deluxe digital download copy myself. I was able to continue to play saved games by starting the game with the automatic login disabled. All my downloadable content was available.


On a side note, despite the fact that I'm using a Mac, and what supposedly is a Mac copy of the game, I'm not able to post in the Mac tech support forum. Is there a setting somewhere in my profile I'm supposed to flag?

For whatever reason, I'm able to load my game now. It seems to be missing the premium content, but it loads. What's even funnier, is if I escape out of the opening cinematics quickly and then click on the other campaigns to get to Witch Hunt, I can load it (gotta be fast though). The catch is that none of the characters in it are loading with their Witch hunt faces or gear, only models and items from the original game. Also, special items like the book you need off the bat don't show up, so, not actually playable, but pretty funny to mess with for 30 seconds or so.

Well, this is weird... now even with the service started, I won't work now. BUT... if I log out of my account at the main menu.. I can now load my game..

I had the same problem last night. This fix worked for me when nothing else did:

Got mine fixed, I manually uninstalled the DLC, and then reinstalled it through the DAupdater and played it! All logged in too.

My sympathies to their IT folks. I know what's like to be in the mid of a crisis in a weekend.

Hope this is solved soon for everyone.

Also, security measures like this are not nice for paying customers. I hope that big companies like EA can see this someday soon.

I remember a day when paying for something meant that you owned it.... not leased it. Sure I had to look up what the 3rd word in the 5th paragraph on page 47 of the instruction manual was to verify I owned the game but that was the point. I owned the game. Part and parcel. Draconian DRM is Draconian.

Ok one of the guys in previous forum said he was using mac edition and had this problem. He unplugged his pc from the internet and loaded the game. All the dcl contents were there when he loaded his game. I tried it last night and yipeeee it did work. Of course you cann't be updating your online profile like this,... but atlist you got to play your game with all the equipment you tirelessly collected.

Hope they fix the servers soon.
