This is really well done, but the textures look far too clean, especially the door frame in the last screenshot.

I agree. The models are great, but the textures look unrealistic.

Well what do you think all the undead bound to the tomb do when not having to contend with invading adventurers? :)

Sheesh, thank goodness it is laundry day. *tossing a drool towel into the pile* Looking very nice. I like the cat statues in particular. Any chance of getting those as placeables as well?

Thanks for the updated screenshot! Do you have "Enable Environment Shadows" turned off for this screenshot by any chance? Would it be possible to get a screenshot with Environment Shadows turned on in-game, if so? Thanks!

I removed all the shadows because of pivot issues. There is some pretty complex geometry in there. Makes the engine throw a wobbly. When I get the textures loking ok I'll have a bash at the shadows again.

PS: Statues posted on vault. http://nwvault.ign.c...s.Detail&id=474

Nice statues!

Yeah, the volumetric shadows are worthless on any kind of complex geometry.  I never use them, myself.

What I was talking about was the default lighting system which still applies if an object has a Trimesh modifier on it but Shadow is unchecked.   I think it's technically something like Blinn or Phong shadows from OpenGL but if you have all shadows and everything turned off, it's the lighting that still allows your torch to illuminate a dark room realistically.

Nice screenies Borden. You are making me want to start building an Egypt Mythos. Sure must get hot running about in the desert in that plate mail though. ;)
