Well I got the Ashes but when i return to Redcliffe, i don't see Ban Teagan anyway.. so where has that guy ran off to?

He should be standing with the Arl's wife in the castle... but perhaps he is by the windmill? Sorry if this doesn't help, I really can't think of where else to look.

1. I save the kid using blood magic - hence the wife is gone.

2. Check the main hall of castle, the windmill and also in Arl's room. he's just not there >.<

is it possible he was killed in the fights? i have not seen the tavern owner anymore in redcliffe because of that.

He did talk to me after the desire demon is dead, and that is after the fight... so i don think he's dead.. and if that were true, it means i have to replay every single thing again.. Darn it

Isnt this a known issue? You can move the camera around to target the Arl to give him the ashes or something like that.

I will try it again later.. hope i can find the "right" angle to complete the quest... hopefully
