Hi, When I start playing this message:

Expected semicolon character.
Line: 47, 117
File: C: \\ Documents and Settings \\ ----- \\ ----- \\ Bioware \\ Dragon Age 2 \\ News \\ en \\ news.xml
If you are not a developer, you may need to reinstall game.
 
Details:

 Can not display XML
Page can not view XML input using XSL style sheet. Correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.
Expected semicolon character. Error processing resource 'file: / / / C: / Documents and Settings / ------ / My documents ...

Reinstalled twice and still get the error. Some solution? Thanks

I'd stick semicolons in lines 47 and 117, but I'm cool like that.

In detail:

Go to the directory where Dragon Age also saves Characters and Settings, which is not the install directory but should be something like "C:\\Documents and Settings\\MyUserName\\BioWare\\Dragon Age 2".
Now go deeper into the "News" directory, following your language acronym and in the end open up news.xml using an application like notepad.

Search the file for "http://eu.dragonage.com/dragonageii/extra/?id=15749&lang=de" and replace it with "http://eu.dragonage.com/dragonageii/extra/?id=15749&amp;lang=de".

Then search for the facebook-promo which should be this link "http://apps.facebook.com/dragonagelegends/?amp;kt_type=partner&amp;kt_st1=cp&amp;kt_st2=da2pcl&amp;kt_st3=da2pcl" and replace it with "http://apps.facebook.com/dragonagelegends/?kt_type=partner&amp;kt_st1=cp&amp;kt_st2=da2pcl&amp;kt_st3=da2pcl".

For me that helped and the news are displayed again.
