Well, with the release of ME3 getting close, I wanted to buy the "bridge-DLC", LotSB and Arrival. However, when I go to the "Add Bioware Points" option in my menu, and re-enter my pass word, I get this message:

"It appears as you have more than one accounts for this currency. Remove one and try again."

Well, sorry Bioware, but I have only ONE account. However, when I try the "Manage accounts" option, I get the general error, "An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later."

Can anyone help me out please?

Odd indeed. I never bought any DLC before, and never had any trouble accessing the "Add Bioware points"; And now I actually want to buy something I don't have any acces at all... :pinched:

Similar problem here. Mine says that, "It seems that this purchase request has already been submitted. If you want to make another purchase, start over." Except that I haven't submitted this request, no purchase was made, no receipt was given, no points recieved, no Arrival purchased.

Same issue "It appears as you have more than one accounts for this currency. Remove one and try again". Can't seem to figure out what the hell that means. I check my profile, as far as I can tell I only have one account...

If you are having issues purchasing BioWare points from the site, you can purchase BioWare points from the Origin Store. http://store.origin.com

There are 2 packages:
800 Points = $10 U.S.
1600 Points =$20 U.S.

You can purchase the points through the Origin Store, but make sure that you sign in with the same email address that you use to login to the game and the points, once the order completes, will be added to your account.

OK, thanks for saying so. That will help a lot.

It's not the ideal fix but I guess it works... Wouldn't it be nice if stuff worked properly?

Thanks anyway...

Edit:  Now I managed to buy the BioWare points but I'm still getting the error when I try to purchase the DLC.  Wow, this is really annoying - I suggest that BioWare make their site work if they want to sell DLC.  I contacted EA praying for a fix or assistance - here's hoping...

Seriously have been having this issue for months.

When i try to add bioware points:

Invalid action

It appears as you have more than one accounts for this currency. Remove one and try again.

So i bought bioware points on orgin and get:

An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later.

Its ridiculous. EA Support just tells me to wait for 4 - 8 hours, uninstall the game (yes, really) or they give me promo codes for $%#@ that doesn't work.

And i've been trying for months.

Hmm, the BW points at Origin Store are much more expensive than buying via the Bioware Social site?

1600 BW points via Social.Bioware.com cost 13.94 Euros
1600 BW points via Origin Store cost 19.99 Euros!

Problem I'm having is.. I'm not back home and Origin won't give me a United States billing option which makes no sense. My PayPals locked out, lol, and I'm out of options because every time I try either of my cards, I get a message saying something about unable to verify or use card. I look online and people have had problems like these for years. How can problems like these go for soo long and not be addressed or keep coming back? I would just like to access some extra DLC and go on happy with the service and games.

The problem still exists! Same error message that the previous posters had had, can't buy the 560 points for the desired DLC :(
Also...

I guess that is the reason it isn't solved yet?:innocent:

Your guess seems to be right. Couldn't buy on points.bioware.com, but Origin processed my order rather quickly (while charging €3 more than the bioware would have). Well, thanks EA...

When I try to buy DLC for ME3 or ME2 I get the same error, "It appears as you have more than one accounts for this currency. Remove one and try again." Subsequent attempts to purchase for both games display a new message: "An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later." Someone on the Origin support forum created a support ticket for me but if you guys haven't found a solution after several weeks then I have no hope this will get resolved. I have multiple personas on my EA account, but only one account as far as I can tell. Every time I try to do something new on EA they make me create a new persona so I don't see how that could be preventing me from giving them my money. Ridiculous. I live in Canada if that makes a difference.

I finally got this "more than one currency" problem resolved via EA chat support, email support wasn't helpful at all and twitter support ignored me. At first the chat person found no problem with my EA account but I further explained that other people were told it was a bioware points wallet issue, that they were assigned two wallets. He looked again and then fixed it! He said there were two wallets. Hope this helps others who are having the same problem, mention the two wallets.
