Start Dragon Age.
Log out if you're logged in.
Start a new game.
Quit this new game.
Load your saved game where you have the unauthorized DLC problem. You'll have to change the charater profile fo for that.
Enjoy your game.

By the way, after doing this a didn't notice any missing content but check if this also doesn't happen with you.


You might consider not to login in at all after this... I know I won't...

How did it not work? You weren't able to load the saved game with the DLC enabled? Or you missed DLC content for that save?

Couldn't load the save game because it contained content that was unauthorized. I think it actually matters how you bought the game. I downloaded the ultimate edition from EADownload. The steam people seem to have it equally bad, whereas others who havd original DVDs or who downloaded all the content or something can get by by staying logged out, etc. Had I known to log out while my DLC was authorised and not log in again, I too would probably be OK.

I'm one of those who has the ultimate edition from steam. I had the problem of the unhautorised DLC. The process I described above got my saves to load again with DLC enabled. Just can't log in again or it will all be unauthorised.

Nope.  I have Ultimate Edition using EA download.  Works fine if I am logged-out in the game.  It all depends on if you logged out before the DLC "unauthorized" or not.

Well I have done everything that anyone has suggested in fixing this 'unauthorized' issue and nothing works. So that being said, when will BioWare get the DA server running so we can all play the game and who's idea was it to have a server to play a single player game??

Sure, but the suggestion was that you can recover from having logged in and gotten your DLC de-authorized by starting a new game. My experience is that you can't. I can certainly start a new game, but it doesn't help me load a game save that contains DLC content. There may be configurations of the game where it *does* work (in fact it would seem that there are) so I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying it.

Im using a disc version of the game. I just recently installed it after that my DLC's was unauthorize right after i redeemed the code. Also by using a disc version does it always ask you to put the DAorigins cd just to start the game?
