guys i have the solution and it works 10000000% promise so this is what you have to do<br />
<br />
Locate AddIns.xml in "C:/Users/(Username)/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Settings" and edit it using WordPad or any XML editor. Replace all RequiresAuthorization="1" with RequiresAuthorization="0".<br />
<br />
Run the game and check to see if everything worked!<br />
<br />
<br />
if it worked say it here so that the others can see that it worked
Thanks very much, this worked where everything else wasn't.
Now I have equipment missing though...

In most cases this will just let you load the Saved Game, but you won't be able to use your DLC. Also you run the risk of damaging your Save File (should you save), and then having problems once the server issue is fixed and you get to properly activate the DLC.
SO! Crashing over here too!

Oh, goodness, now Levi Dryden is back in my camp! Seems that servers are KIND of back but also demented... well, at least something is happening...
So, it's "LOG OUT" again. Everything works that way, however...

All this stupid crap about having to log in to play etc. is only there because of their anti-piracy panic. I am sure there are better ways of dealing with it than this, but as it stands only people who play by their rules are punished and I am not a happy customer.

Sigh
But now we can all again "enjoy" the game till the next little problem and go thru the exact same issues and complaints and wonderings EXCEPT if something is done differently.
But lets see.....

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Electronic Arts\\Electronic Arts\\Dragon Age Origins - Ultimate Edition\\ergc
to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Electronic Arts\\Electronic Arts\\Dragon Age\\ergc
The product key is stored in the (Default) value... it should be a string of numbers. Double-click the value and copy/paste it.
You can verify this worked by checking the Configuration utility under the "Game" tab. You should now see your DA:O UE key listed. Launch the game, log back in to reauthorize and verify on the Downloadable Content screen. If everything shows good, log out and close DA:O.
Relaunch DA:O and check your DLC again, make sure it's still authorized while logged out. Finally, load a save game and make sure your characters still have their DLC gear (if you're using any).
If you are on Win7 x64, the correct hive is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\Electronic Arts\\Electronic Arts\\Dragon Age Origins - Ultimate Edition\\ergc
move your key to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Wow6432Node\\Electronic Arts\\Electronic Arts\\Dragon Age\\ergc
This should probably be added to the first post so that others don't have to dig around like I did.
